LESS THAN 65 REMAIN!

We are getting down to the wire, at 500 units, this is not going to last long and also finding this after it sells out on the secondary market because it's only 500 is going to be tricky and expensive.

This is a great MELODIC THEMATIC ENGAGING score that the majority of us would enjoy. Everyone who's gotten it has enjoyed it and said it's fabulous. Yes it's from a film you haven't seen or heard or. Yes it's by the guy who you may not have been the biggest fan of his Ladyhawke score, but do not let that stop you from checking this out, listening to it.

LISTEN TO THE SAMPLES and buy this, you will not be dissappointed, I guarentee it.

Peter,

Based on your passion and advocacy for this score, I too took a blind chance. Got the CD this week and took it for a few spins last night and really enjoy it. Now I just have to check out the film someday. I don't really post but wanted to you let you know how much I appreciate your devotion to this. As a long time reader I also respect your ongoing civility and helpfulness to others on the forum. Congratulations on having this dream realized and validated.

THANK YOU, my goodness, so glad you took the leap and the many people who have have had similar reactions to this score. I was telling my spouse the other day, I'm so thankful and happy I was able to get my #1 holy grail out. Really appreciate your note and this really made me smile, again THANK YOU! The film btw is pretty good flick and it will be interesting for you to see how the music is used. smile

All right, all right already, Peter! I'm getting it, I'm getting it. (Good job on the countdown, worked for me.) I ordered with batteries not included, which is back ordered, so it may be a while, boo ho for me. wink

There has been so many treasured un-Earthed in the last several years that to find a score that I would love to see out, my goodness my mind draws a blank. Carter Burwell wrote a BEAUTIFUL score to a documentary called The Celluloid Closet that is completely un-released. I'd love to see that released. The theme he created for that documentary makes me weep, so beautiful and so much more. They even go K.D. Lang to sing the song "Secret Love" that is just breathtakingly fabulous. That's one I can think of.

At some point, I'm going to ignore Williams' protests and rerecord STORY OF A WOMAN with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra. Or so I wish. That would be my ROCKET GIBRALTAR.

But why bother if the original tapes have been confirmed to survive in good condition, as originally conducted by Williams? Eventually he may soften about it getting a release...

We've gone from 100 left to now less than 60 left!!

An interesting tidbit, the Intrada catalogue number of 411 is also Edwin and I's birthday April 11th 4/11. We were shocked when we found out this was the catalogue number. It was meant to be. Be sure to grab this, it's a beautiful moving melodic score that will lift your spirits. Everyone who has picked this up has enjoyed it. Yes you don't know the movie, and possibly you did not like Andrew's Ladyhawke score, that's fine, don't let that persuade you to not listen to the samples and pick this up. There's safety in numbers and everyone has enjoyed this! With a score this good and with a limited supply so low of 500, you will not be seeing multiple copies on the secondary market and if you do you're going to be paying a LOT! Get it now smile

I listened to it yet again earlier today, and I'm still moved by it. I'm increasingly thankful I grabbed it with each listen.

That's why I found it VERY important to put that in some of my posts that I tried to convey to people don't let the fact you disliked Ladyhawke persuade you to not give this a chance. After you listen to this you will say, this is from that same composer???? Enjoy it when it comes! smile

LESS THAN 50 COPIES REMAIN!!!

This score is going out the door! Grab it before the scalpers put this up on the secondary market for hundreds of dollars. At 500 units this is going OOP quickly. In less than a month they've sold over 50 copies! Everyone shockingly is in agreement that this truly is a quality score worthy of you taking the gamble and picking it up! I guarantee it. IF you are not happy and hate it and can tell me it sucks, I'll PayPal you $20, GUARANTEE!

While trying to get what was so great about this score I purchased 3 copies and hated all of them. Peter please send me $60!

It is indeed a very good score. Recommended to those that like melodic thematic drama scores.
