What about the BACK cover for this Copland two-fer? Did Naxos ever supply one, with the track listings, etc? I've looked in vain for the info...

To the best of my knowledge, this release was solely digital.

There's some really terrific work in this thread, I'm incredibly impressed!

I'm very excited about getting this next week:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lights-Camera-Music-Decades-Williams/dp/B071NN6LC2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1494605174&sr=8-2&keywords=Lights%2C+Camera…+Music%21+–+Six+Decades+of+John+Williams
But I am really not a fan at all of that cover art! Would any of you talented folk be interested at all at having a crack at it?

I'm probably going to use something from here for the 'Force Awakens' suite:

Okay, so I was planning on making covers for the Bad News Bears set when Scott DS basically created what I was planning to do. I decided to use his template to make a cover for the first movie that matches. The only difference is that I used a bit more detailed credits.

The complete set (again, these are designs by Scott DS, just with nomenclature slightly tweaked by me):

Similarly, I went for a more LP cover approach to the same artwork as the original Intrada:

All covers from The Cincinnati Kid set were in huge FSM covers archive, which Lukas & Joe shared last year (honestly - I didn't check if link is still working), folder 600.

Covers from BUtterfield 8 also were in same folder.
Plus, if you'll go to CD page, you can click on each cover and download them...

I think most of the Lalo Schifrin set can be found in their cover art folders on Dropbox.

FSM Dropbox 600: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0rkfwaxr9yvlfba/AADSbXL9QFgbgSAzsZmmAw9Ba/%20FSM600?dl=0
FSM Dropbox 1500: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0rkfwaxr9yvlfba/AABerREEnoVN3D0Ixfb8UEO5a?dl=0

And there are plenty of cover art sites out there that have fine scans of the original LP covers. This would be a good place to start: https://lpcover.wordpress.com/?s=lalo+schifrin

If you'd perused the previous pages, you would have seen that I also posted this cover for the film tracks for The Cincinnati Kid

…this one for the film tracks of Bullitt

…and this one for The Venetian Affair

Okay, so with Twin Peaks being back and all, I felt it was time to organize the Twin Peaks Archive in my music library. Over 200 tracks, almost ten hours of music, most of it different takes and remixes, was rather daunting, but I was able to place them in chronological order as they appear in the series and film with the help of this site: http://twinpeakssoundtrackdesign.blogspot.com/ (I used the custom cover for the Season Two and More album from this site as well).

Now, the tracks in the Twin Peaks Archive had different 600x600 artwork for many of the tracks, but I found that they were not only inconvenient, but most of the designs really weren't all that. So after I organized them all, I created custom covers for my music library:

A while back, I created something similar for a friend, who disliked the original cover art the collection came with. In his case, he just wanted some new cover art for the entire 212-track archive, so I only created just one cover. Just sharing it here:

Some are indeed very nice... except that one basic rule... the text must never be that close to the border of the image...

For a physical cover, absolutely.

I don't think I've ever been happy with any JttCOtE art, from 1959 or otherwise.

There isn't much anybody can do with the existing artwork, really. You just end up with something that looks like the Varèse cover anyway. If there is any alternate, better, artwork for the film that anybody is aware of that I haven't found, let me know.

Some of these might be available in the Dropbox link above. But after a cursory search, hi-rez key art for these titles might not be easy to come by!
