Limited Edition of 1000 copies.
Long-awaited re-issue of out-of-print soundtrack with complete score as a bonus.
78 minutes of music, including 45 minutes of music never released before.
12-page CD booklet with liner notes by Gergely Hubai.

Wow! This is wonderful. Hopefully more 1960's (and "Daddy-O" before that) Johnny Williams on CD is on the way. Must remember to keep this Music Box label in mind and check out the back catalog. Thanks so much!

Wasn't it FSM's last Williams release (almost two years ago now) at the end of 2011: Nightwatch?

Yes, that could be it.

How many more copies were pressed? Will it sell out again quickly or can I wait?

I just received my copy of this CD -- and haven't seen any reports yet on it. So...the album material sounds immaculate -- crisp, detailed, nice stereo spread, fullsome -- like it was recorded yesterday. I don't have the previous CD for comparison -- but the stereo, rerecorded stuff, to my ears sounds marvelous.

As does the mono original track portion of the album -- I only had time to sample a few cues but was very pleased with what I heard -- clear, no distortion in the tracks I sampled. A great job all round.

Listening to this reminded me again of all the great comedy scores by Williams -- he always managed to ground the comedy in a way that the films seemed somehow "meatier" if you know what I mean.

Thanks for this release. My Fitzwilly lp recently went away along with most of my lp collection -- donated to a cousin -- so this was great to receive t his score in such a great package -- liner notes, design, are all superb.

NOTE: Per below comment, I had not seen the other thread -- there is no need to bump this one again -- so I refer folks to that thread which has many interesting comments on the score, etc.

Good thoughts, and I've found this a fun score on relistening.

Here are some more thoughts in a seperate thread, if you were interested in what some others thought
