This score is (sometimes) so sexy! Love the guitars, fitting this movie like a glove. Too bad much of the music is burried in the mix. Fortunately, we can hear all of the score's glory on CD.

I thought that MAN OF STEEL was best 2013 soundtrack, due to its orchestral complexity, wealth of themes, ecleptism, outstanding melodies and furious action cues

BUT

this fantastic enjoyable rock & roll & synth (& even string quartet) RUSH simply tops everything and is one of the best soundtracks I have ever listened (and I've listened a huge number).

For those of you who may have forgotten already-watch BACKDRAFT again.....for the first time.....

and Den, Ise jess tells you a little story about a black chauffer (sp?) and a cool , old, white lady!

And how Hans Zimmer fooled the world....

THIS is "Orchestral Complexity" at its best, yet simple enough to translate...:

The LAST thing I ever heard of worth from Zimmer was BACKDRAFT.....Before that, it was DRIVING MISS DAISY.....

You know, it's really sad when you lift a "love theme" from one movie in order to give life to another movie..

I'll leave it to you "intelects" to figure WHICH two movies, by Zimmer, share this theme...

Tell me, how do you like Zimmer's touch? Is it quite different from Jablonsky's touch?

LOL this is like asking why does orange juice taste like oranges? Could the real question be "Is it feshly squeezed or concentrate?"

It's more likely cloned. Hence it tastes like the original one in every way, but secretly inferior.

I don't know why this misses people's radar, but Steve Jablonsky worked for Zimmer for years. so his style sound more like Zimmer's due to this.
