I have. They're ace.

My favourite is still the Spielberg directed episode "Murder By the Book". Jack Cassidy is my favourite villain. He's wonderfully greasy in it and also in a later episode playing a murderous magician with a secret.

I finished Dexter season two last week. Amazing, if anything, better than season one (Keith Carradine was really great in it). I started Rome tonight, the first two episodes, great stuff! I did see it all those years ago, but I can't remember too much about it.

Rome is ok some nice women!
I was late to the dexter party but i loved it.
Once started i wanted next episode immediately!

Rameau, I am glad you are enjoying Dexter. I really like the first two seasons and thought one of the best seasons was season 4. Season 4 is a powerhouse.

Like you, I thought Keith Carradine was great. I thought Michael C. Hall was always fine as Dexter, and I liked his sister's savvy and courage. This was one of my favorite series. However, the very last season did disappoint many fans. It was a let down compared to the first 7 seasons.

Keep us apprised of how you are enjoying the journey. I wish we had more Dexter adventures to look forward to. I didn't want to end.

Hello Joan, like Bill I was very late to the Dexter party, in fact I'm catching up with so many great TV series that I missed, I have a whole wall of box sets to watch (I was buying them, but not watching them). I look at a season & then move on to another. Maybe season two of Deadwood next (or even season two of Ally McBeal), & I haven't looked at any of Breaking Bad yet.

The Sky High I.Q....Case
some fans don't like this one but I think it's terrific.
Love Bikel and his respect for Lt.

A Matter of Honor
Montalban is excellence.
Love the joke about Mrs. C having to go back to USA to "celebrate her brothers ELEVENTH wedding anniversary. She's sentimental that way"

Lol!

I actually really like that one and have rewatched it a lot. The bad guy and his wife were both on the same episode of Star Trek TNG i saw recently, though unmarried in it and neither were villainous. That episode has a young Jamie lee Curtis as a waitress who stops Columbo from bringing his own donut into a restaurant.

In the original series they had just the right amount of humor. Unlike the buffonery of the revivals.

Oh I dunno Bill, what's the best? I'm thinking it's Breaking Bad, I'll get around to starting it next year. I haven't even started Spartacus yet. Last year, Amazon were selling the big Blu-ray set for something like £14, & then I fancy looking at Angel again.

Dexter is good quality but a bit silly in places.
Rome n spartacus is watchable but very silly in places.
Breaking bad is sopranos quality.
Its godfather and godfather 2 and wild bunch level.

Just finished season one of Rome, fantastic. I can't think of a feature film set in ancient Rome that's anything like as good, I'll look at season two early next year. I'm off for a week with the family next Thursday, so I need a short season of something to watch, or I may just catch up on the many feature film Blu-rays that I've yet to look at.
