Wow, some surprising picks here.

TONI ERDMANN was one of my Top 10 movies LAST year (it's a 2016 film in most of Europe), I thought LIFE was OK and ALIEN: COVENANT is one of my top 10 -- if not even top 5 -- movies of the year. Absolutely brilliant movie in every way!

The worst 2017 movies (so far) are:

THE KILLERS OF NIBE
KING'S BAY
BRIMSTONE (but a spectacularly beautiful score by JXL)
SIETE CABEZAS

Next-to-last movies are:

2:22 (but great score!)
THE RECALL
FRENZY
OSKAR'S AMERIKA
THE SALESMAN
IT'S ONLY THE END OF THE WORLD
LOVING PIA
THE CIRCLE (but great score!)
THITHI
IN THIS CORNER OF THE WORLD
HIDDEN FIGURES
STRAY BULLETS
DRIB
THE MUMMY (so agreed there!)
MOTHER!
AMERICAN MADE
MOGADISHU SOLDIER

Yikes!

How many movies do you see each year?

Don't you get fed up?

Ha, ha...no, I don't get fed up. It's my passion and my job all at the same time. I try to see somewhere between 150-200 new movies every year.

I wish you all could read Norwegian, because I went into some detail about this in my Norwegian review./

All I want for Christmas is an English translation of Thor's PROMETHEUS/ALIEN
interpretation!

Those Norwegians blew it up.

I feel exhausted if I see more than a couple of movies a week. If I start watching a 150 minute movie and it's a boring first 30 minutes, I really can't sit still in my chair.

After all, seeing films is a rather passive thing. I don't really feel the same when I listen to my CDs or LPs. Maybe because they don't last as long as a film.

How Interesting! A Jedi sucks teat & dies, a parody in itself. I know Johnson wanted a different SW is he taking the biscuit or what!

Justice League
Justice League
Justice League
and one more time Warner Brothers...Stop making these worthless tripe failures. Never give Zach Snyder anymore money to direct, write and produce massive failures as Batman, Superman, and Flash Crap.

Transformers ...Please Stop giving Michael (I'm Leaving) Bey anymore funds.
Furious Something Other...Off Ramp Please
Beauty and The Beast...even money makers are flops.
Pirates of Caribbean...a Film about Butt Pirates would be more interesting.
The Mummy...Universal Studios trying that Rehash.
Daddy's Home 2...Please, I beg you all..No Daddy 3!
50 Shades of Failure. Please no more. Dull as Dirty and Gay Porn or Str8 is more interesting.
Please Studios no more Tyler Perry ANYTHING! Nuff Said.
Emoji Movie...Will a Studio give me 20 million..and I will Write and Direct a masterpiece that has zero Poo!

That would not be a very good pitch if you were lobbying for the Emoji Movie.

Poo On You. You Poo missed the Poo Point. To be listed by many critics as the worst Poo Film of the year...proves my own point...whomever is in charge of the poo points at studios...they are missing major brain power. Oh Please let's dig up Irwin Allen so he can direct..Swarm 2, and The Towering Inferno 2. lol

*Looks at the Emoji posts*

Ick. I'd say Emoji was one of the worst, but that wouldn't be fair since I haven't seen it. Even if everyone said it had a good story and the characters were clever, I cannot stand fecal matter jokes. That was the number one reason I did not go see it.

People bagged on The Emoji Movie without seeing a frame of it. It IS a bad movie, sure, but more feeble and bland than anything else. There are probably twenty movies I disliked more than it this year.

I never get this luxury worst films, I hardly invest in cinema any-more, just Dunkirk that played out well quite neat-tidy.

All these worst films, I'll get the chance soon when there viewed on SKY, I'll probably pass on many, Murder on the Orient Express maybe an interesting highlight as a good movie, a littered ball-park now-days.

Year's nearly over, had at it, go ahead and list the Worst Films you've seen this past year.

'ALIEN:COVENANT' (The further along mankind gets, the dumber he becomes.)

This tops my list. Thank goodness Sir Ridley appears to be rebounding with All The Money In The World. These days he really seems to be doing better with non-science fiction films.

If we really ponder what each of us thinks are the worst films this year, I wonder if sometimes our choices are based upon being excited and full of anticipation for some new movie only to find that it wasn't what we had hoped for. (The reality juxtaposed against our anticipation.) For instance, I loved the original Guardians Of The Galaxy. I could barely wait to see GOTG 2. I was so disappointed in the sequel. I would not call it one of the worst films of the year, but sometimes that "let down" can make us feel like certain films are "the worst."

Am I making sense? smile

Cinema, last decade odd i've been going less n less, now, a snails pace hardly at all, why pay if you wanna walk, it doesn't get me peed going once in awhile I'm not wasting my time or investing, which really isn't the £ point , although sometimes, feel cheated whats been viewed.
