For an hour and twenty minutes, before an audience of 200, the composer answered questions from Robert Townson and the public. The conference featured five video clips from the following films: A Beautiful Mind (Creating "Governing Dynamics"), Braveheart (A Gift of a Thistle), Legends of the Fall (The Ludlows), Avatar (Jake's First Flight), and finally Titanic (Rose).
James Horner's emotion during each sequence, the precision of his answers and the proximity of the composer made this conference a special and unique moment.

On the contrary, I think your work is very good and informative! This board doesn't have a large following of Horner fans, so that probably contributes to the apparent lack of interest. However, I am a huge fan of Mr. Horner, as the man inspired me to become a composer myself (I'm now a music PhD candidate). I am thrilled with all your hard work in creating a dedicated website to this great composer!
I agree that this topic warrants a fresh new thread, which would attract additional viewers.
I also hope that you will change your mind and post the entire symposium. If the organizers want to post an "official" video, they can kindly ask you to take yours down. However, it does not appear that they have the plans to do so. I know 85% sounds like a lot, but to the most dedicated fans, nothing less than 100% will truly satisfy! ;-)

PATRIOT GAMES: THE REVENGE OF A SCORE
What a lovely and fitting coincidence to have both scores composed by James Horner for the adventures of Jack Ryan released in extended versions within a month. Indeed, after Clear And Present Danger (1994) in June from Intrada, it was La-La Land Records’ turn to offer us Patriot Games (1992), which contains more than thirty minutes of previously unreleased music.
This is an underestimated score and, despite its cold aspect (the horns and Tony Hinnigan’s pipes and flutes are not present) and some less accessible electro-percussive parts, Patriot Games deserves a second chance. The strength of this new limited edition of 3,000 copies is its development of every aspect of the soundtrack, thus promoting a better understanding of its narrative structure. Expanded, the musical ideas are more consistent. Their meanings then become clearer and more explicit, while revealing James Horner's intentions.

Indeed, three years ago, I had the crazy idea of creating a website about some of the most touching musical works ever written, the music composed by James Horner. It all started with a simple observation: there was a noticeable gap in general press and on the Internet about his music. Nowhere could one find complete information on his work nor any publications aiming at highlighting it.

TITANIC CONCERT IN LONDON IN APRIL 2015
Remember. It should have been the Wednesday, May 19, 1999 in London. James Horner and Sony Music organized the Titanic concert. In the program, we would find two suites written for the album, Back To Titanic: "Titanic Suite", "Epilogue – The Deep and Timeless Sea", as well as a Celtic medley including Patriot Games / Braveheart / The Devil's Own and the world premiere of a ballet, Celtic with the Riverdance troupe. Unfortunately consumed by the composition of the score for Mighty Joe Young, the composer hadn't had time to finish his ballet and the concert had to be canceled.

Given their past relationship with Sony/Epix, I've wondered if an expanded release of this great score might be in the offing (this year?) from La La Land. I believe MV said they had more coming from Horner. If memory serves there are about 20 minutes of the score that didn't make the album. Normally I wouldn't stump for this when the album we already have is so long, but this is one of my top 5 all-time favorite scores. I'd buy an expansion in a heartbeat.
