Just about positive that it is Artie Kane playing piano on the 5m2 "Rock Source" cue from "One is a Lonely Number." Incredible take for sure.
(NOTE: The FSM player credits list Artie Kane and Wofford, but my ear says it's Artie Kane. Hope someone can confirm. I used Pelham 123 as a reference.)
The only lame thing about any of the big releases is the lack of player information at the cue level. We miss recognizing all those great 60s-70s west coast studio hands bc of this missing info. It's probably not even available tbh.
Rich and famous and Interlude were the 2 scores that really made me fall in love with Delerue's music., 30 years ago, from there it has never stop.interlude was easy, bought the fine- Colgems lp, however on my tape recorder i had to record Rich and Famous when ever it was on cable and also on video.
Ordered this title as part of last weekends 25% off FSM sale (which has also been extended thru this weekend!)
I will agree with other members Rich and Famous is a "lush" score great music but I was just thrilled with Michael Legrands score for One is a Lonely Number! I just love track 18 the rock source piece! Los track 20 also (Moving Out)
This one is a keeper! This disc is going to be played to death!
