THE BRIDGE RECORDING is closing.

My 9th Annual Fans Of Film Music Celebration on August 25th will be the final session at The Bridge Recording. I'm deeply honored and thankful to have been there for five glorious and wonderful years. Everything is a GO for F.F.M.9 this year.

I just wanted to send a big thank you for posting this on Facebook and Facebook Live - I loved watching the video!

All of the composers were great and I absolutely loved Pinar Toprak's personal story. She's as much a fan of film music as we all are. You can find the video at the link below. big grin

Thanks everyone. It was such a fun time. It's funny as I was watching it from the back I thought we really do have an international group assembled.

Laurent from France
Stephen from Great Britain
Pinar from Turkey
Bruce from Australia
Ludwig from Sweden
and Jeff from USA. Funny that the American was the minority this time.

All of the guests could not have been any kinder and stayed to sign all items. Such troopers. I'm exhausted. Here are a few photos from the Christopher Young party and F.F.M.9. Enjoy.

Pinar has great taste in gateway scores.

The only sad moment was when Jerry Mahoney, the late Paul Winchell's partner, chose your event to commit suicide by asphyxiation.

What!!
One of our own killed himself at this Soundtrack get-together?
That's a tragedy.

Wtf is all this??? If it came from anyone but Henry I'd figure it's the usual FSM humor.
If true... what a shock, my condolences.

Oh, I see, some obscure American dummy!!
Pardon me for not getting in on the joke. It's was such an obvious one, wasn't it!!
"Forget it Sean, it's FSM" wink

Deep cut indeed! Still, R.I.P. Yet another Fans of Film Music tragedy.

Because "younger" fans would really get a pretty obscure joke, which was clever, and one that I got after two seconds

I always find that if a joke has to be explained, it's never really funny after that.
Couple that with the America-centric nature of the joke (I would wager that almost no one outside the USA - on this board - 'got it')
is why comedy is such a minefield and a hoary one to navigate.
