Paul Hardcastle- 19 Released thirty years ago yesterday.

Strange that this song was all over radio in early 1985--and a big hit--but to my knowledge, never heard since.

"None of them received a hero's welcome..."

Thanks, Josh. I agree (obviously!). big grin

I vaguely recall reading somewhere that Miles was envious of Herbie Hancock's success with Head Hunters. Did I hallucinate this? I know On the Corner, which came out the year before, was a flop, so maybe there's something to it.

Must be grand always winning
How proud are you being able
To gather faith from fable"

Sting- Dream of the Blue Turtles

"How can I save my little boy
From Oppenheimer's deadly toy?
There is no monopoly on common sense
On either side of the political fence
We share the same biology
Regardless of ideology
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Russians love their children too"

I've been enjoying the new album by these Swedish siblings. Kind of like a country/folk/pop tinged sound. Very impressed.
