I've got some new requests for you cover art geniuses out there, this time not Goldsmith:

1) separate individual covers for the Varese LSO re-recordings of Conti's North and South and The Right Stuff

2) individual covers with some personality (original film poster art) for the Naxos (so far download-only) re-recording of the complete Aaron Copland scores to Our Town and Of Mice and Men

3) individual covers for the original scores in BSX's Basil Poledouris Collection Vol. 1

That'll do for now; I'll bother you more later! smile Thanks in advance for whatever you come up with.

I forgot to mention that I too think Turbo's covers for the Bernstein rejected scores are fantastic! What would be really cool is if you continued with that theme for other Bernstein rejected scores that have been released (Last Man Standing had a pretty generic cover from Varese I think).

I decided to have a try at "The Right Stuff". I know there are far greater talents at work here, so maybe you will get better offers.

Using GIMP, I created custom covers for the Karate Kid 4 CD set since there were no individual covers. I also created custom covers for the FSM Superman set because that set also lacked individual covers. The links take you to images that are all 1000 x 1000.

Here are the Karate Kid covers:

Here are the Superman covers:

http://img121.imageshack.us/i/disc6alt.jpg/

P.S. I'm ashamed to admit that I don't know how to embed these images! Ah well.

Enjoy!

Hi,

I'd really like to get hold of these Superman custom covers originally posted by FarTraveller.

Most of the links are long dead - does anyone have them to re-up?

Would be really appreciated.

I get a message stating the image is deleted. To embed images in the forum, you need to take the image URL (without http://) and format it like this:

Thanks Chris! Those will do very nicely.

How about Elmer Bernstein's Da, someone? It was used to fill out a Varese disc with My Left Foot. The latter got the cover art, the former did not.

My custom covers I use for Elmer Bernstein, David Raksin & Rozsa Treasury can be found below

Thanks to all sources. Some are my own creations as well.

If anyone's interested, this now contains my custom covers for the MGM Soundtrack Treasury. Not that good but serviceable I hope, getting images for some of the titles is tricky to say the least.

How about some new art for SAE's release of Gerald Fried's Too Late the Hero? There's some pretty cool looking poster art that they did not utilize...

FarTraveler here. Randomly happened to notice your request! I've not been checking the boards much in the past few months. Anyway, here is a dropbox zip of all the covers:

I mentioned that I might be doing this in the topic on the new Varese Star Trek Into Darkness Deluxe Edition release, and I had some free time over the weekend so I decided to go ahead. The weird packaging on Trek '09's Deluxe Edition has always kind of irked me, and with the new STID release it seems even more out of place. So I decided to create inserts for a standard jewel case in the same style as STID. The images embedded here are just resized previews; follow the link for full 300dpi PNG versions far better for printing (preferably on glossy paper stock similar to what jewel cases inserts typically use).

Just a request here. I'm not impressed with The Lion King cover art. I'm talking about the new Legends release from disney.
The cover art for the upcoming Mary Poppins release looks worse.
