TO EDWZOOMOM-Fun non jaded innocent times , right. I remember in the 90's dealing with MANLEY FILMS ON WEST 57TH STREET IN NEW YORK CITY, with one of my films. As I was leaving the lobby I saw hundreds of young teenage girls having fun and going crazy because THE SPICE GIRLS were there on the street. I said to the doorman- silly but fun, he nodded in agreement . I then said it's refreshing to see in this world. Hope they are having the time of their life. Youth is so short, innocent youth even shorter.

I remember first seeing Paula Prentiss in In Harm's Way back in '65 when I was ten. I thought she was gorgeous, partly because she bore a striking resemblance to my best friend's older sister whom I had a huge crush on. I liked her work in IHW, even though her specialty then seemed mostly romantic comedies. I never knew anything about her personality, but she seemed to have that "girl next door" quality you used to hear so much about long ago. Awesome that they're still together. Thanks for posting!

dan, you captured these moments exactly. I was simply a young girl in a glamorous, storied city seeing stars with stars in my eyes. I sometimes wish I could go back to looking at life that way. Thank you for sharing your memory.

Richard Benjamin and Paula Prentiss today:

I adore Paula Prentiss--what a beautiful speaking voice she had--and Richard Benjamin is one of my favorite "Average Joe" actors. I feel that a long-term working relationship with Woody Allen would have been fruitful but at least Benjamin was cast in a nod to his Philip Roth connection in Allen's "Deconstructing Harry."

Prentiss' sister, Ann, has a most interesting story and was a dead ringer for her sister. Maybe with too much emphasis on "dead" if you know the story:

I was about to mention Paula Prentiss' sister, Ann. She did some acting too. When I rented the first season of "Hawaii 5-0" from Netflix, Ann Prentiss was in an episode and looked so much like her sister, I thought it was Paula. I then found out on IMdB.com who Ann was and about her problems with mental illness and eventual death in prison. She must have really flipped out, actually trying to kill Richard Benjamin.

When I quickly look at PAULA I see for a second MARY TYLER MOORE. The eyes maybe.
