If that stuff is accurate about the costs of CDs, then why is it that a lot of albums from Europe I am interested in are only made available for a cheap download in the US? There has to be more to it because a number of bands I like have albums on CD in Europe but the US version is just a download. If the CDs really have more profit margin then it wouldn't make sense to see that. I imagine it depends on licensing and distribution conditions, not the delivery method. The opposite happens as well: albums are available for download here in the US but not elsewhere, for example, which I know is a source of great frustration to some members of this board.

Right, I'm not in Germany, I just want to purchase a lossless download of this thing. Oh well, I'll be there in October and I'll buy it then.

No sign of a CD yet I'm becoming less hopeful, they usually release the CD the Monday after the download version. But I think Argo was delayed a bit, so I'll wait and not buy the mp3s yet.

So glad to finally see a CD available!!! (Even if a CD-R). I figured one would come out after a week or two.
