Other than a handful of tracks from Cap the Marvel scores I listen to in whole are Thor and Iron Man 3. So I'm happy it's Tyler and really sad it's not Doyle.
I only know IM3 and Bubba Ho Tep. Going by these Tyler has kind of a Jim Steinman vibe going for him.
Should be interesting. Looking forward to hearing his take on it. I wonder if he will do straight traditional music or add his groove based flair. I think he excels at it and would be curious to see that approach applied to The Avengers.
I like Brian Tyler's approach to scoring and he has the talent for sure but I'm not sure it makes a huge difference if Tyler, Doyle, or Silvestri scores a new Marvel film. They will have the sound they want regardless of composer. I doubt we'll hear a Lego Universe or The Greatest Game Ever Played style of score from Tyler in either of these films.
Marvel was in love with Tyler's music so much that they used it in temp tracks for their films. Now that they have him, they aren't going to let him go. But at least they don't ask any MV guy.
Pretty cool poster! The four characters in the center are well placed and provides a good focal point. Nice body language. What's around the center is haphazardly placed.

Yes, but this poster is very similar to Iron Man 3 poster

Funny! But not surprised. God's the bean counters in Hollywood are such ditto heads.
