I just got this yesterday.

I like it. Very Schifrin. If you like his 70s style - that stuff he does with the cimbaloms (and mandolins?) - I think you'll love this.

When this score has been discussed on the forum in the past people seemed to be very keen. Since its release - the reception seems, well, luke warm. Especailly compared to other releases around the same time.

Even this thread didnt make page 2.

Has everyone who wanted it, got one?

This my favorite Schifrin period, possibly his best phase: 1970 thru 1979.

The Schifrin sounds great. Like the samples a lot and appreciate the custom mix, it sounds convincing.

The Rosenman sounds nice, and fans of his music for MAKING LOVE (1981) will hear some writing in the finale sooooo reminiscent of his score for that film it will bring a tear to your eye.

Hide in Plain Sight is getting a rare screening on August 31st on TCM at 10:15 pm (ET). It's James Caan day on TCM with a full schedule of rare films finally available to watch, such as Harry and Walter Go to New York and Slither.
