Why?

Ha. Sorry Jim, but I find that the original hour long CD seems to never end.
Even Goldsmith himself stated regret at releasing the album so long.
I think I whittled it down to one of those old Varese 25-30 minute programmes and it flows much better.
But if you want more, have at it smile

You mean all those additional 5 minutes that were missing? Not to mention the original was WAY too long already...

But seriously speaking it is very possible that one of the releases will be Jeepers Creepers 3... pretty weak score but for some reason people keep buying even Richard Band's scores... so perhaps it will sell.

But with JC3, Orfanato and new Coulais... there are only two slots left for their 300th CD and some other surprise.

Not even Supergirl can break free from the legal bonds of in perpetuity. It's the only thing that can defeat her. Aside from Kryptonite.

I wish *somebody* would do something with it!!!

Oh no... no..... I LOVE "The Family Arrives", but I think I've only listened to the complete CD maybe 5 times since getting it way back when it was originally released.

Funny enough that the 5 unreleased minutes of Russia House are surprisingly refreshing.

What does it mean for Legend and Supergirl? Is Silva still producing expansions at all? Or would any special label have to buy the rights from Silva?

I would love to see your playlist for The Russia House: The Whittled Down Edition. I'm a bit of a whittler myself.

Does that make in perpetuity the soundtrack equivalent of the Phantom Zone?

Was it actually confirmed at some point that Silva has Supergirl in perpetuity? That turned out not to be the case for Rambo: First Blood Part II, so perhaps it's not true for this score either.

MV: "I think (99.9% certain) both Supergirl and Legend rights are in perp with Silva so they would be the ones expanding those"

99.9 is good enough for me.

Instead of obsessing over Goldsmith and "what-could-have-beens", why not rejoice in and/or check out the soundtracks that actually WERE being announced in this thread? If you're not familiar with them or the composers, why not try something new? I know for a FACT that many of you will like Skram's SNØFALL, for example.
