the same to you Deputy...was spending it watching Cat´s Eye and the F13th remake then falling asleep on the couch... My gf wasn´t that impressed in my choice of movie (but she choosed Cat´s Eye)
also to celebrate this Friday, I bought Part 2 on vinyl from Waxwork records (with the Mrs.Voorhees cover, not Jason sack) and I also got the two numbers of Pamela´s Tale on comics)
Watched part V with the fam last night. Love it when Tommy's stunt double busts those badass Bruce Lee moves on that inbred doofus with the motorcycle. How's about a Hershey bar, angry log-splitting guy? How's the soup taste, ma? I think this belt is a bit too tight...around my skull. Oooohh, baby, ooooooh baby...damn enchiladas!
David, what youtube video did you post? An error occurred and it's not available to view. Also, I've never seen Cat's Eye. You recommend? And I didn't know part 2 from the recent(ish) La-La Land box set was available on vinyl! Did they release each of the six scores on vinyl?
Josh, love part V! Such a deliriously wacky, trippy, bizarre, unique, fun F13 experience like no other. Unlike Jason Takes Manhattan, which I think is so bad it's terrible, A New Beginning is so bad it's wonderful. "Yuh-yuh-yuh don't set a place f-f-f-for a dead person!" might be my favorite line! Courtesy of Jake of course. And I always have a crush on Robin. How could anyone or anything on earth kill someone as kindhearted and gentle as Gramps???

the youtube clip was the same as Freejack posted a couple of pages back "After Friday the 13th" Cat´s Eye is OK and a threepart story seen thru a cat and the best is the first with james woods trying to quit smoking (the last is a Drew Barrymore Vs Ugly Jestertroll)
Yes the vinyl of part 2 was released this friday from Waxwork Records and limited edition which will sell out fast and released with two different covers (newly made) Part 1 was released a year ago and sold out immediately... No other parts has been released yet, but as I understand it, is Part two mastered from the originally tapes while the CD wasn´t?? Anyone can comfirm this?
Happy Birthday to the most beautiful, and my favorite, girl in the entire Friday the 13th series, Amy Steel (Ginny, Part 2)! Still looking radiant at 55.
Amy Steel trivia: she played the girl who stole Alex P. Keaton's (Michael J. Fox) virginity on Family Ties. Good thing she didn't do that before she went to Crystal Lake, or she probably wouldn't have survived...
"Paul, there's some candles on this cake...Paul there's fifty-five candles on this f***ing cake!!!
Before it's too late, let me wish you all a Happy Friday the 13th!
I surprised my F13-loving wifey this evening with this little gem. We're long-time fans of the Nintendo game (despite its unforgiving level of difficulty), and this action figure set housed in an oversized replica of the original NES packaging features not only a "purple Jason" as depicted in the game but actually plays the 8-bit theme from the game when you open the cover!
This was such a fun thread back in the day. Especially for the proud few that participated regularly! You know who you are -- you should read back through it, it's a bunch o' laughs. Or even if you dig Friday the 13th films, this thread is a blast. I guess its lifespan...um, ran out of lifespan.
The character Trent DeMarco (Travis Van Winkle) is not only in the Friday the 13th (2009) remake, but he's also in the Transformers (2007) film as the same exact character with the same exact name. Makes sense, as both movies are Michael Bay joints (albeit F13 thankfully directed by the extraordinarily talented Marcus Nispel).
Friday the 13th is coming up! Better celebrate while you can, because the next one isn't for at least a year (Sept. 2019). I'll definitely be doing a marathon of Pts. 1-7. Well, definitely maybe.
La-La Land is also releasing on that day the double whammy of Manfredini's Friday 4 and Friday 5. His music for the recent Gun Media game was scheduled for that day, but has since been delayed (hopefully not indefinitely or cancelled).
Also this caught my eye, for those who love "the Jason movies":
It's a totally rad new-ish (Oct. 2017) book called Death Count: All of the Deaths in the Friday the 13th Series, Illustrated by Stacie Ponder. What a genius she is! Who comes up with a book idea like this? I'm so glad she did. It whimsically (yet graphically) illustrates all of the deaths from the films in "silly style avec blood". As a huge fan of the series, I love it!
Bonus points to anyone who can identify the "victim" in the last picture below (this is a true test, F13 fans).
