One of the craziest and funkiest albums ever. Pure audio insanity, and I love every minute of it!

A world (and a decade) apart from the Herbie Hancock album that I posted two days ago, but just as delicious...in fact, funkalicious!

One of my favorite albums by the perpetually overlooked and underrated genius and musical pioneer...

Scratch that. RHCP wasn't really doing it for me. This is more like it:

Man, Keith Caputo rocks, and sounds just as good (or better) live as on record. Little man, BIG VOICE! I saw Life of Agony in concert at a small indoor venue in the mid 90s, together with Cannibal Corpse, Anthrax, and The Misfits (sans Danzig, unfortunately).

And now for something COMPLETELY different!

LENNY WHITE ~ Venusian Summer (1975)

FUNKY jazz fusion album led by one of the greatest drummers of the genre. Also one of my favorite album covers ever.

Rachmaninov's Third Piano Concerto in D minor

Jorge Bolet with the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ivan Fischer.
Recorded Sep 82
Released on Decca

Sorry, can't find a web pic but the cover merely shows the beaming face of Mr. Bolet.

Perfection!

One might describe THE CRAMPS as rockabluesapunkabilly B-movie sci-fi/horror sexploitation trash with a BIG BEAT.

Hear it, know it, love it. smile

Saw these guys live a couple of times in the mid/late 90s. Despite the fact that Holly got a black eye in the mosh pit the first time we saw them together (Halloween '97), to this day it remains one of her favorite concerts. big grin

My favorite songs from this album:
