I always thought of Bruce Marshall as a snappy dresser!

I yam.

I’ve become addicted to Perry Mason (TOS). I watch it on FETV (even though it’s not HD, there’s almost a nostalgic appeal to the slightly fuzzy images) since I’m too cheap to buy it on DVD. I had some vague memories of watching it in the early 60s, when I was 7, 8 years old, but I can appreciate it now.
I enjoy how so many of the actors were recycled numerous times as different characters, much like shows such as The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, etc., some of whom seemed to always turn out to be the guilty one each time they were on.
Even with the formulaic approach, there’s almost always a twist, which itself is expected but perhaps not too obvious.
Kudos to Fred Steiner for that immortal theme! It’s also great to hear the stock music (some by Herrmann, no less) so familiar to us.
And (God forgive me), a middle-finger salute to Paley for torpedoing PM (and Gilligan’s Island)!

The only thing more obnoxious than Gilligan's Island is rapidly-aging Baby Boomers reminiscing about it.

Having said that, I always thought Mrs. Howell was the best-looking woman on the show (which isn't saying much).

Ouch! - A Jim Phelps display of brutal honesty is always welcome (and often hilarious)*.

I don't know if I've confessed this before (I can't be bothered to check), but...I don't like live music! There, I've said it. I realize that I'm totally out of sync with the world, with CD sales (for ever) falling, even streaming down & tickets for live concerts selling out in seconds, everyone wants a live show. Not me.

I'm with you, Rameau, I confess I don't much care for live (rock) music, either. Especially if it's a band promoting their latest album; I'm almost always disappointed in the live version vs the studio version. While lots of folks enjoy the atmosphere and feel of a live concert, I'd rather enjoy the music in my own little world, not with 20,000 of my friends.
Classical music is something of an exception for me as usually the crowd is mostly quiet except for the maddening coughs and such.

I must confess that I am NOT "rapidly-aging." If you drink enough fine wines and eat dark chocolate, you can slow down the aging process while enjoying a longer life.

Personal confession:
I may have enjoyed Jupiter Ascending more than the any movie of the current Star Wars Trilogy (The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi).

I confess I suffer a “Shakespearian” vending machine dilemma. In a machine near my desk at work the snacks, colas etc., are contained in alphanumeric order (A1, A2, etc.) and for snacks it utilizes those coils that unwind. My favorite candy bar is in slot B2. For whatever reason, B2 often gets stuck and the candy bar doesn’t drop. I’ve left post it notes for the vendor, but to no avail. So, when I’m craving my favorite candy bar, I’m always fearful B2 won’t work properly and have to decide whether or not to go for it.
Can you guess my “Shakespearian” dilemma?

Is it: "A Hershey Bar, a Hershey Bar, my kingdom for a Hershey Bar"?

Or: "Is this a Snickers I see before me?"

Or "Et tu, Frooties?"

I've never eaten an oyster, I mean I've eaten a cooked one as part of a seafood meal, but I've never eaten a raw one straight from the shell, just tip it up & let it slide down. I will do one day.

It's worth it - I only had one, but if the occasion arose I'd have more... It was like having a good old fashioned seaside resort in your gob. I'd think Whitby or Scarborough - you'd probably relate more to Margate or Whitstable!

For the first time in years I didn't buy the SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT issue.

Why?

Let's just say "#metoo" and leave it at that.

I'm surprised they still make those.
Never was interested in them--not because of any personal movement towards "enlightenment", but merely because the women in it are boring, cookie-cutter representations.)
