This Oct 22 announcement has not one but FOUR titles between 1985 & 1990! Only one from the 1970s, and nothing from either the 1960s or 1950s. A "Holloween" batch that's more trick than treat. Wow must suck to be that one lonely guy left out in the cold. I'd say based on the overwhelmingly positive feedback on this batch, this has been quiet a treat for the members of this board.

I love horror scores as much as the next guy, but I'm quite confident that Varese will release them sooner or later. In any case, the surprise will be just as sweet.

Maybe we're dreaming if we expect a vintage North soundtrack. Why would this be a dream? Varèse has consistently released North's scores. His music is a passion of Robert Townson's. But that doesn't mean that there are unreleased North scores sitting around at studios that Varèse works with available to them. Desire to do something and ability to do something are not the same. Never fear, the North thirst will be satisfied soon This is a nice batch indeed. I have the Scott and Broughton but the others are all mine.

You don't say! Who said that the gouging started in 1987? Sounds like teabagger reasoning to me What? I thought we used the term "speculator" around here to describe people who snapped up copies of a limited item with the idea of selling it soon thereafter at inflated prices. I was just saying that that wouldn't have been possible with this CD. I can see how that makes me a know-it-all. But a teabagger? What? My apologies. English is a second language to me and I believe I mistook teabagger for tea partier. My sincere apologies once again. As for being a know-it-all, I think that you are somewhat deluded as you seem to know very little. Blowhard would probably be more apt. Have a nice tea party, jerk!
