Peter, you're not going to be there with Alan? But you'll be missed!

Peter may not be there with Alan...but I will be.

Me too!

Does this have to be an either/or situation? Why can't we have it ALL?! big grin

Queen sang "I Want It All"...I guess we can too.

I'm sure you'll see all three of us there at some point.

This will only work at the show if you ask, "Did we whip 'em?"

And I'll say, "We whipped 'em and we got it ALL!!!"

You don't already have this permanently ingrained within your hippocampus? Bah, you are not a Romero movie fan! wink

Dawn of the Dead 1978 is what it's from one of my MOST favorite horror films, right Jim?

I picked up this CD a while back and I LOVE it! Thanks to Zero Day for all the hard work in putting it together.

I have a question for the Romero fans.
IIRC In the (German) novelization of DAWN OF THE DEAD Fran takes care of a puppy but this is completely absent in the movie. Romero do not even show a pet shop in the mall at all.

So was this dropped before shooting began and only kept in the novelization ??

That's the first I heard of this. I would suspect that this was added to flesh out the characters more (novelizations tend to do that). Does it turn zombie?

Some questions answered...

@Sledge - If all goes well with this release, we have plans for more George Romero film scores which utilize library music. Stay tuned...

Do you maybe have any updates ??

It was in the script, but they cut it at some point. It was never shot.

Bump: Is there still a plan in place for Creepshow? Been way too long since any updates. : (
RE: length of CREEPSHOW library cues -- Trust me. There is a plan in place. wink

Jeff, sorry for the delay in getting back to you (received your e-mail, as well). Unfortunately, I've no current plans for further soundtrack releases. For the amount of time and money spent in keeping THEY WON'T STAY DEAD! off of iTunes, ffshrine.org and other illegal file-sharing sites, I could have released three licensed soundtracks.

Last I checked, iTunes isn't illegal.

(And by the way, yes, I did buy this CD.)

Seriously, you need to check again. THEY WON'T STAY DEAD! was available illegally on iTunes for nearly a year before it was removed. A UK customer even commented directly on the download page questioning its validity, so apparently the issue wasn't lost on everyone.

In just 10 minutes of searching, I located three additional unlicensed soundtracks on iTunes from the same bogus vendor that was caught selling my release, and yet those titles are still available.

That's a shame. I really enjoyed "THEY WON'T STAY DEAD!"; While I'm greatly saddened by this news, I am still very grateful that you managed to release "TWSD". Thanks for the response.

I recently picked up a nice print of the film and thus ordered THEY WON'T STAY DEAD! Got it today. Fantastic album! Thanks to all who's research and efforts made this such a success.

Fay Wray--er, hey Ray! Would appreciate any feedback to latest posts on your "Calloways" thread. Otherwise, it's a wrap, put a fork in it, no skin off the apple, etc.

To the prospective respondents on this thread (IF ANY! big grin), begging your pardon for the interruption. We now return to our regularly scheduled program already in progress. Carry on!
