MV, Thanks for all the great releases thus far in 2014. It's been a great year for LLL. Quick question - Have you heard of the score for Age of Conan: Secrets of the Dragon's Spine by KNUT AVENSTROUP HAUGEN? It's the third soundtrack in the series (first two have CD releases). Secrets of the Dragon's Spine has an epic score recorded by a 71-piece orchestra with a 60-piece choir, and was recorded in Skopje, Macedonia. Check out the title theme here: http://youtu.be/OFwjrskQ2AU By the ghost of Basil Poledouris, this is the music that bloody, savage dreams are made of. The theme opens up with a small array of horns, summoning heroes to explore the lands of Stygia. Strings begin to compliment and the music becomes bolder, more assured and heroic until we get a trio of heroic trumpet fanfares. Then the chorus. Oh, sweet mother of God, the chorus (around 1:45)! Poledouris' influence is all over this, but this is also Haugen. Unlike some lesser composers who would essentially try to write like Poledouris, Haugen pays "homage" to the man. This is an evolution of the musical language that inspired composer evoked in "Conan the Barbarian" and our ears are better for it. Any change of rescuing this score for a CD release?!? Thought I'd ask... As always, thanks for your time and patience with all us fans. Craig

Sorry for the delay. It's been a hectic week. We do have two titles coming up on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 12 pm pst: Field of Lost Shoes (Frederik Wiedmann) Eye for An Eye (James Newton Howard) More info will be posted later tonight on our fb page regarding these titles. We will NOT be doing a flyer this month because we still don't know what will be ready in time for Sept 23. Right now 4 titles are vying for that spot. Two...possibly three will make it. Waiting on final artwork approval on 3 of them and revised publishing info on the 4th. Ah, such is life in the world of soundtrack producing. MV
