I have about 75 TD albums but I've lost touch with them over the past few years. I need to get back on the TD wagon! Recently bought Froese's 'Kamikaze 1989', finally on CD, now that was good ! I think it will be an inspired contribution from TD, given how high-profile and anticipated this project is. Haven't heard recent TD, but I wouldn't be surprised if Rockstar is looking for something that harks back to the aforementioned early '80s line-up that coincided with their biggest soundtrack successes in Hollywood--THIEF, RISKY BUSINESS, THE KEEP, LEGEND, etc.--and, of course, SORCERER, which predates the popular '80s titles (and Schmoelling) by a few years.    Posted:   Aug 29, 2013 - 4:22 PM     By:   desplatfan1   (Member) Finally! This must be the "big project" Froese was referring to last year. He'd made a statement when they were again available for Hollywood projects, saying they had something "big" that would be released in spring 2013 - the original released planned for GTA V. Now...for a score soundtrack ? Hmmm... the last game had only 1 physical CD released. No doubt there'll be a various artists disc...but how about a double CD of TD's stuff ? WOW! Just WOW! Rockstar's inspired soundtracks for Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3 have endured for me as some of the best soundtracks PERIOD of the last ten years. Looks like their audacity continues! Nothing available for pre-order. Although all the radio station music has been detailed, no info has been released, by Rockstar or by TD, about the score or a soundtrack release. It doesn't look good for a TD score album... but here's hoping something good happens A local store had what looked to be a GTA 5 and PS3 bundle already on the shelf today. If they'd have had the game separately I might have splurged, but my preorder of the collector's edition will be here Tuesday.
