The CD release of Jovanka e le altre (aka 5 Branded Women) is listed as "Coming soon" with no specific release date yet.
Cometa's been around for quite awhile (37 years, according to their website). They originally released Jovanka e le altre on LP in 1983. No indication yet as to whether the CD will feature previously-unreleased tracks.
I'll be on this in a flash.I have the lp but haven't played it in ages.I might resist and the cd will seem like new

does anyone know when this score will be available in the u.s. and acn anyone tell me more about this italian specialty soundtrack label? thanks very much.
The month August means vacation time for all the Italian soundtrack labels. So I wouldn't expect the release of this score on the Cometa label before early/mid September. Then you have to take into account that it will then take at least 3-4 weeks till US soundtrack dealers like SAE will have their copies of the CD. If you order at Intermezzomedia in Italy you will get your copy much earlier.
As almost all of the Cometa CDs during the last months had additional tracks in comparison with their former LP releases from the late 70s/early 80s, I strongly suppose that JOVANKA will also have some bonus tracks at the end of the CD besides the normal LP album program.
What is a bit amusing is the fact that the rights to the JOVANKA score actually belong to the Laurentiis company Radiofilmusica, but in a strange way the tapes must have found their way to the Cometa company during the 70s or early 80s.

What I can say at the moment is that the tracks from the acetate discs of THE WIND CANNOT READ which are in the Lavagnino estate will certainly be on our next CD. I still hope that we can couple it with CONSPIRACY OF HEARTS (both films were directed by Ralph Thomas and so they would fit together very well) provided that the tapes are found again. I will get more info about this in about 1-2 weeks. If CONSPIRACY cannot be found, we will have to do something else like LA GRANDE OLIMPIADE or I BRIGANTI ITALIANI.

Yes, DAMON AND PYTHIAS is available in the Lavagnino estate. I had seen the tapes myself about two years ago when I was there. So this score would also be a possibility in future.
Unfortunately, nothing has been found from SAVAGE INNOCENTS. A great pity.

Almost all of the Lavagnino western scores owned by CAM have already been released either by GDM or Digitmovies. As far as I can see it, there is only one more western (SAPEVANO SOLO UCCIDERE) left from CAM now which will certainly also come on CD in the not too distant future.
In the estate there are a few more western scores, most of them owned by Nazionalmusic and now by Beat Records. For example SETTE ORE DI FUOCO, GLI UOMINI DAL PASSO PESANTE, UNA PISTOLA PER CENTO BARE...
CAM still has about ten Lavagnino epics (the most important of them SALADINO) and private copies of a few of them are also in the estate. But in the estate there are also epics not owned by CAM like LE MERAVIGLIE DI ALADINO (THE WONDERS OF ALADDIN) or MACISTE CONTRO IL VAMPIRO (GOLIATH AND THE VAMPIRES) which we could maybe release in future.

I have asked at Cometa what happened with their planned CD release and this is the rather strange reply:
"Due to just a few pre-orders, reluctantly, we canceled the CD of the soundtrack of Lavagnino "Jovanka E LE ALTRE" perhaps even to the crisis that has hit Europe. Anyway one of the first CD that will print will be the soundtrack CD of Lavagnino "Jovanka E LE ALTRE".
