That's not a bad idea, but what about Man w/2 Brains and The Lonely Guy double header by Goldsmith? sssshhhh. It's all about "Looker".

I love the Looker score and would buy it in a second. I'll second that. LOOKER was one of the more interesting electronic scores of the early eighties. In fact, a friend of mine made a replica of the Looker gun for fun. Alas, he doesn't have it any more. If a cd is released, I hope they include Susan Saad's vocal of the title song from the film.

Nice idea - I like LOOKER also - but it'd be a pretty short album. There's the theme song, another song, the classical arrangement when Susan Dey is being computer generated. There is the suspense theme, but that's pretty much one theme, and it's repeated endlessly throughout the movie. Not quite. There are many variations of the rhythmic suspense theme, much of which do sound similar, but it's not just the same track. The finale is around 10 or 11 minutes I think, and has quite a bit of variation from earlier portions of the film. There's also a great instrumental version of the title song that's awesome. Even so, if it happens to be short, that further encourages the idea of a dual release with something that would be a good match. Intrada released "The Stunt Man" (with An Unmarried Woman), which is just 25 minutes, and nobody's complainin'.

Looker + Stick, two energetic DeVorzon scores. Would make a nice CD

DeVorzon's THE NINTH CONFIGURATION ...some truly exquisite emotionally adept music in one truly freaky William Peter Blatty film! I'd get that one in a second -- that goes double for LOOKER!

Another year went by and no label had the guts to release 'Looker'. Sigh.
