WOW!! I guess I'm showing my age, but this set means more to me than anything that La-La Land released last week (even though I bought all of those). This is the set of the year as far as I'm concerned.

To give you an idea how long this has been in production, "Count Your Blessings" was the very first score I ever cut for Lukas, back when this was going to be an FSM set. That was in December 2008.

who would have guessed?!?! Not a big Waxman fan (yet) but I'll buy it. I need those loyalty points. And there's that weird cue in SUSPICION when the detective keeps looking at the little painting - with my luck it wont be included.
Sound samples are great - pure Golden Age gold. Nice variety. Roger was right.

I'm sad thinking of all the film score fans who have passed away during the 9 years that have elapsed.

I am pretty sure I started it even a few years before that. So grateful to you, Intrada, John Waxman, Warner Bros. and others for getting it completed!

There are emails from Lukas to George Feltenstein about locating and transferring sources that date back to December 2004 -- thus the "13 years in development." Who knows how long it was in Lukas' head before that?

Sampling the set. Can't finish it all today.

Liked cues from "Captains Courageous" (especially track six).

Didn't really care for "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde".

Kind of enjoyed "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn".
