Like "The Outer Limits" and "Stoney Burke." HERO'S ISLAND is owned by Leslie Stevens' Daystar Productions. That (and not MGM/UA) would be the likely source for any music tracks. Here's the main title:

isnt this the usual dilemma? Daystar might have the rights but not the music, and Frontiere might have the music but not the rights. Was that the situation with OUTER LIMITS and NAME FOR EVIL cds?
I don't know. All I know is he is credited as the composer in the film and it doesn't specify anything else.
you said it was a nice score, so I assumed you watched it and might recall if there was also non-Outer Limits music. It's been awhile, and I only remember the OL music. If there's other music, could be from other series he did, as opposed to new compositions. I'm sure there's a blog about this somewhere.
I skimmed threw it and I'm barely familiar with TOL music or SB music. I watched the opening credits in full to hear the main title score.
There's also some other TV series and miniseries credits missing here. And there two films he was going to score but was replaced on (I don't know if he did a rejected score), missing ("Mister Moses" and "A Rage to Live").
