Just recovering from a storm dumping 2-4 inches of rain, with intermittent sunshine.

It's 89 degrees Fahrenheit (30 Celsius) here in the Miami area--and it's 8 p.m. The high was 96 (33 Celsius) today with a heat index of 101. Unusually blisteringly hot for April.

Yikes. It hardly ever gets that hot in Norway even during the peak of the summer.

We had (hopefully) our last bout with winter and snow a couple of weeks ago. Sunny spring is back, but with moderate temperatures around 10 degrees C (appr. 50 F).

89 F feels like 97 F. Clouds and sun and extremely humid, despite the reading only being 48%. It's a clingy heat out there today!

89 F feels like 96. That pales in comparison to upstate Florida, where St. Augustine is at 90 F but has a heat index of 117 F! I can imagine how hot it was when I was there one August some years ago. Yikes!

It's been in the 90's for over a week, 99 the last two days and 98-99 expected for the next five days.

It's been rather chilly all over Norway so far this summer, at most reaching 20 C on select days. It's also expected to be an unusually chilly summer. Bummer.

Boiling in Berkeley...

I can't say that it's been boiling in Norway and Oslo (it really hasn't been 'boiling' at all this summer), but right now there's a surprising 'late summer' of sorts, with sun and temperatures hovering at 20C during mid day. That's excellent for so late in the season. Expected to turn soon, though. That's the drawback (or benefit) of having actual seasons. wink

Supercold around Christmas: just below 50 F/10 C. Even colder at night. I was miserable.

Now rain, rain, threat of rain. Occasional sunshine mid-day.

BlizzardZilla is just starting in central Maryland. We'll see if we get the 25-30 inches they're calling for. I'm not working this weekend so I say bring it on! I just hope the power stays on.

It's been snowing here in central Virginia for a few hours now. We're expecting anywhere from 12-20" after all is said and done on Sunday morning.

68F/19C and 100% rain. All day, non stop. It's supposed to go down to about 47F/9C by Sunday, but I doubt it will.
