Oops, he did it again.
Another Grand Slam final appearance and he finally beat Federer in a major tournament.

Yes, but he still has the same face - what's he playing at?!

C'mon, TG. The guy can't help what puss he's born with! Aside from his little nasty-faced episode last night (instigated uncharacteristically by Roger Federer at a stressful point in the match) ol' Andy has done a pretty good job of cleaning up his act. Nowadays he mostly keeps his mouth shut and pumps his fist rather than doing the donkey face routine. Much as I hate to admit it, I think he has finally moved past Federer to the #2 (if Nadal can't make a comeback) or #3 spot in men's tennis. ND rules the roost for now, and is unchallenged in hilarious imitations of Maria Sharapova's on-court prep routine.

Don;t fret, Dana! I like Andy Murray - my comment was an ironic one. Some people seem to think he shouldn't be allowed to win tournaments because his face offends them!

Hell's teeth - if that was the case, I'd never win any new business...

No chance.

I'd love it if he loses to the 6ft 8in Pole.

Hey, ol' Andy has taken the first two sets at Wimbledon 6-4, 7-5! Can the olde boy get it done today?

Superb match!

Congrats to Murray and Great Britain. The curse has been lifted!

The tension in that last game was just insane.

We had a power cut in our area during the second set and the start of the third. So glad when it came back on.

I was thinking: "Djokovic is too good. No wait, Murray's just as good. No he's better. Wait ..." in a kind of hellish loop. You could feel the balance shifting throughout. Then those three championship points went down the drain! Ok, Andy, just a few more deuces to give the crowd value for money.

Murray's proven himself beyond any doubt. Good for him.

A win in straight sets is always well-deserved.

What's not so great about it is that papers like The Sun et al will be full of "stories" for the next three days. While the English are bad losers, they're even worse winners.

Looking at photos of Murray, it is impossible to to tell whether a match has gone well or badly for him.

Dour isnt the word. Notwithstanding his considerable talent, he has to be one of the dullest sportsmen around.
