In 2010, I had just seen CHLOE and after seeing her legs on the poster of LETTERS TO JULIET, I thought, 'I really hope that whoever cast her as the mousy nerd in JENNIFER'S BODY is peddling for change at this very moment.'
Amanda Seyfried is a bizarre choice, as she's GORGEOUS and frequently appears on the covers of beauty magazines. Looks like a Scarface-era Michelle Pfeiffer.

Fell for Mary Steenburgen when I saw Time After Time years ago. There's something about her voice I've always liked. Another favorite voice is Genevieve Bujold, especially in Choose Me (1984). Also, if musicians qualify on this thread I'd add Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg.
Amanda is one of the prettiest young women in Hollywood. Safe to say you are definitely not alone in liking her.
I think she's quite pretty though I can see how she's still not considered "conventionally" beautiful because of her fashionable nerdy awkwardness. I'd never heard of her before this thread.
I hope you don't feel bad about that, Mr. Phelps. I hadn't heard of 90% of the women mentioned here. I'm just hopelessly out of touch with today's celebrities. When I'm in my doctor's office waiting room, looking through People Magazine or some such publication, I find myself thinking, "Who the hell are these people???".

Not at all. If there's one thing I'm not ashamed of, it's my ignorance. lol The one thing I've learned from flipping through a magazine in the dentist's office is that no one seems to have any pores any more.
I am guessing that you and I are about the same age and perhaps a lot of what passes for pop culture and celebrity has also passed us by, unless said persons happen to cross over into our preferred "realm" of interest, as it were. For instance there are several actors I've never heard of unless they appear in a Woody Allen film.

Can I ask how old you guys are?
Me? Over 40. (That's all you're gettin' outta me, too!!!)
How about some of the ladies in commercials. I like Flo (Stephanie Courtney) from the Progressive ads, and Suzi Barrett from the Metamucil and E-surance ads. If we can have yum for our favorite tv shows, then we can have yum for our favorite tv commercials. Well, it's yum to me at least.
Ashley Judd is every bit of a weird choice as Amanda Seyfried...she's stunning and lots of men were in love with her in the late 90's and early 00's (count me in).
Count me as one who pined for Ashley Judd. I incorrectly predicted that she would only get better looking with age because she already had a mature look about her but she's since wrecked her beauty with piss-poor plastic surgery. If rich Hollywood celebrities can't find a good plastic surgeon, what chance do regular Janes have?
Calling the Barbara Nichols episode of The Twilight Zone...
