Having actually worked at Fangoria, I'd be thrilled to hear what "Dan" actually did there. I think not, as can be evidenced by him never replying to my simple question to state the facts, let alone his dubious command of the English language. Questioning him is the quickest way I've found to get him to stop with these inane postings, the point of which seems to be getting his threads to the top of the board every day.

Don't think the "tough" questions get answered, On! Keep tryin', though! And if you do get that always-elusive straight answer feel free to break the "news" here! 'Cause we'll publish it!

Daniel, I like you, but I really wish you'd lay off the knocks on Dan. No one here owes anyone an explanation about anything. And for someone whose work is fundamentally connected with the use of language, printed or spoken, you should understand that there will always be people who do not use it as you would necessarily have them do.

More importantly, you do not know the guy and you have no idea whether or not there are circumstances which dictate the form his comments take. If you don't like him, that's fine. Stay out of his threads then. But to follow him around is beneath you. I have never seen him take a shot at anyone unless someone took a shot at him first. That's a pretty rare quality sometimes.

If I'm speaking out of turn I apologize and I will say no more on the subject. But please think about what I'm saying here. There's room for a lot more tolerance.

A [dan the] Man for All Seasons Dept.

His posts are the perfect storm of brilliance. Combining the styles of the world's greatest authors.

The mellifluous poetry of The Bard...

The wordy chunk-a-hunk of The Wordy One...

...and the bizarre "Cut-Up" stylings of Old Bull Lee hisself, (because YOU ALL saw ON THE ROAD, right? Right? Riiiiiiight.

Is Kinsinger Him, Too?

Reminds us of an olde Tre Stoogi clip:

Together, they form a two-man non-film score discussion hegemony that this boarde has not seen since:

No one can tango like those two. No one.

"I remember in one of my films we were shooting at 1.am in the morning and a actress who was a very nice woman said could you give my boyfriend a small part in the movie. He was not a professional actor. I told her, sure. Well I think we took about 40 takes to get that one scene with about 4 lines in it.We didn't wrap up shooting till like 4 in the morning. Patience is definitely a virtue in the film industry."

See how my vibes are creating a creativity of talent in you. See what I do to other people who come in contact with me....Did I ever tell you the time when I was filming one of my films. I had the whole film crew on the floor laughing when we shot the first take of scenes which include funny lines from my screenplay.

Entertainment Industry Mogul. Entrepreneur. Philanthropist.

"...yes that is a small part of my life, was a fun and interesting part, but like others here, i don't want to reveal, alot of other things of what i have done in my life, but i will say this, MR Lukas Kendall back when he was doing his mag in school[Martha's vineyard], i was one of his first customers, and i remember throwing dollar bills at him for the cause of filmscoring and i think i hinted to him what i hope to do, with that cause, i was involed in some big projects in the entertainment industry and if things really went well i was considering throwing big money his way or Richard Klemenson's way[Little shoppe of Horrors Hammer mag] since i admire both of them for trying to expose two things i loved Film music and Hammer films. However things did not fly my way as well as i hoped with those entertainment ventures[semi sucessful] so it never came to knocking on Lukas or Richard's door with a fat check[backing] for whatever either gentleman wanted to do with their causes, i do chuckle if my ventures went a little different and if Lukas would have been happy with the offer that never came to be, everything would have worked out different, the mag, film music, this board perhaps , who knows, nuff said here, but i always will say Lukas and Richard are brave cool guys..."
