Having seen his hair do SAG duty in more than one film, I'm adding Tyrone Power:

Can anyone best Christopher Walken for acting with hair? Possibly the worst head of hair in film history (all things considered), and yet distinctive and very much a part of his characterizations:

Here....

or, here...

or, here...

or, here...

(No! Wait! That's Princess Anne...yoicks!)

Lush, golden and exotic Sausages!!

The bitter old queen Tommy-Girl has some gorgeous curls.

Whoohoo, me like!! The same character with awful hair. But the body and face are yummy!

The Da Vinci Code

While not exactly "acting with his hair", Tom Hanks sure looked as if his hair was wearing HIM.

Ebab, nice call on Violet Parr from The Incredibles. The software engineers at Pixar had to design new "particle generators" for Sully in Monsters, Inc. Violet's long hair was a new challenge when that movie came along.

That's hair, all right.

But does it give a performance? It opens today.

I'm always mesmerized by the bouncy mops fashioned by Tim Robbins and John Goodman from two Coen Bros. films, The Hudsucker Proxy and Barton Fink:

Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd. No question about it.

River Phoenix's hair deserved a separate credit in almost all of his movies.

Jimmy Reardon's hair was born twenty years after Jimmy was.

There's not a moment in the film where it isn't flowing majestically in the wind, but that's true of most Disney Princesses.

I saw BRAVE, and while I don't think the main character's hair gave a performance, I will give Mr. J extra credit for recognizing that her hair was VERY MUCH a character in the film, without a doubt.

Based on what I've seen in the theatrical trailer, Bobby Cannavale let's his follicle strands do all the work in "Blue Jasmine", as he channels Stanley Kowalski.

William Shatner in Generation; just happened to catch a clip of the Kirk/Picard kitchen scene and it's fuller and thicker than ever!

John Malkovich in Mary Reilly (Jekyll & Hyde story)

Justin Bieber stole Carol Burnetts hair style. She was years ahead of her time!
