Love the Elm Streets, but I don't feel repeated viewings with those.

I'm the same way. The Jason and Michael Myers films I can watch practically whenever. But the Freddy movies, as much as I do like them, I tend to watch far less frequently. I've never been able to pinpoint exactly what it is about that series, but that's just the way it is.

And with all three of those series, I can never seem to just watch one entry and be done. I almost always have to watch at least two back to back, sometimes even three! Especially the Jason movies since, like I said, they tend to be so short. And they almost always pick up right where the previous one left off, so it's almost like I'm compelled to just keep watching one after the other in one sitting. (It's like trying to break free from episodes of Quantum Leap, but each episode leads you straight into the next and makes you want to keep watching. Haha!!)

Yup, I've seen Halloween 1, 2, 4-7 multiple times and am ready for multiple more.

Same with F13, I don't watch any particular one every month or few months, but rather I watch the whole series a few times a year. It's always gotta be the whole series. I just get sucked in and each one makes me want to successivly watch another. Although, if someone forced me to sit down and watch just one, well, I could do that too...

Pop quiz: which movie is this line from?

"You talkin' to me Sheriff? ... Oh, I thought you was talkin' to me..."

Expect pop quizzes throughout the day...until someone inevitably tells me to cease and desist. I wish I had a prize to give out...ummm...I have an extra copy of the 2003 Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

I smell bullshit. (^_~)

"Look, mama, I think she likes me!"

That may be so...

But..."don't piss me off, junior, or I WILL repaint this office with your brains"...

I know it's regarded as one of the minor entries, probably on the grounds that it isn't really Jason, but I have a soft spot for Part 5. I suspect that's down to it being my first Friday The 13th film, and the only one of the first nine that I saw theatrically on first run (although I did, years later, see Part 3 projected in 3D), completely alone in a 1500-seat cinema.

Pop quiz hotshot...

Which Friday the 13th movie features the only pregnant girl to be killed by Jason (that we know of)?

Bonus: What's the girl's name?

(Man I hope no one is as big a nerd as I am...)

Part 3 Debbie smile yes Im that nerdy smile but I see I was alittle late here *LOL*

I would have loved to see more of Pam from part 5 thou...she was the cutest of the girls, followed by Terry (Part 2), Megan (Part 6), Rowen (Part X), Trish (Part 4)

(Brenda from Part 1, Chris/Debbie/Vera from Part 3, The Twins (Tina & Terry)/Nurse Morgan from Part 4, Tina (Debbie Sue)from Part 5, Paula/Nikki from Part 6, Robin from Part 7, Tamara/Rennie from Part 8, Vicki the Waitress/Agent Marcus from Part 9, Janessa/Adrienne from Part X
and all the girls from the 2009 remake should be mentioned too)
I hated the cast from Freddy Vs Jason thou...

Fun movies, well at least the first few!!!

Wonderful scores by Harry. I'm so glad that they are not out, as who would want to buy horror music from an iconic score? Oh wait, I would, and about 5000 others.

#1: Roy from Part 5 -- The sheriff says something like "Who would do this kind of thing" and Roy is nearby cleaning up a dead body, "You talkin' to me, sheriff? Oh, I thought you was talkin' to me." You got the right movie David!

#4: David, the pothead from part 7, right before they smoke some weed and Robin's interested in David.

ALSO: posted pics to go with each character in my F13 awards in above post

(I like your picks too David, I forgot about Chuck, the ultimate weed-eater)
