TG, now I'm "hugely impressed." I loved reading the journey of Boots and Amelie, and to do it in rhyming couplets would be very difficult for me. Bravo. Also, like you, the "muse" has to show up before any writing.

Well, Jim, any other poems out there that won't get you banned?

Ballad of a Score Man pt.1

Oldsmith, Goldsmith
Benjamin Wallfisch fed wookies to his goldfish

Tinker, tailor, soldier, spy
i still dont why
they made Tall Guy
the fall guy

Michael Giacchino was in the Indian casino
playing black-jack with Sikoryak
Joe started to bawl cuz he lost it all
Now he wants his money back

Edelman, Eidelman, Endelman
Mr. Marshall's in trouble again
He said something screwy about
seeing Joan Hue talkin' to Baba Booey
Its all a bunch of whooey

I caught a glimmer
of Hans Zimmer
in the mirror
talking to Timmer

I saw the best minds of my generation
Destroyed by Leonard Rosenman

Moloch,Moloch
John and jerry fed their flock
WHile bennie put pennies in the Hydrogen Jukebox
But the man there said it only played rock
Truth be told
Hermann had sold his soul
to rock n roll

* wonder if anyone but Joan "gets" this masterwork

If anybody can understand French, here's a short one:
Mon Dieu
I'll pray the day you'll get the flu!

I hope I don't get that flu.

Bruce, I doubt that I picked up all of your literary allusions.
