And of course Lange, Pollack, Garr, and (?) Murray in the same film. By analogy I suppose you could cite the cast of most any "backstage" movie, such as MORNING GLORY, ALL ABOUT EVE, SUNSET BOULEVARD, DAY FOR NIGHT, FUNNY GIRL, etc. Cate Blanchett won an Oscar for portraying another actor in THE AVIATOR.
Harold Russell won an Oscar (actually two Oscars!) for playing the disabled sailor in THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES.
