And the uproar over Keaton's casting in 1989 was just as loud. "Mr Mom? Beetlejiuce? As Batman? No effing way!" A few years later, the same people were upset over his leaving the role. What that in mind, I'm inclined to wait and see if he sucks.

Or, to paraphrase: "Can somebody tell me what kind of a world we live in, where a man dressed up as a *bat* gets all of the day's press? This town needs an enema!"

Best quote I've read so far about Batfleck - "You are powerless before the machine, your voice a mere mewling in the dark that will be inevitably silenced either by acceptance or grudging acquiescence, because you know damn well you want to see what happens when Ben Affleck plays Batman." Christ, I can only imagine what the music will sound like by Zimmer, who will no doubt combine his Superman and Batman themes into one cohesive mass of indiscernible white noise. Oz Well, he will need at least 24 percussionists, and some German chanting, it needs to sound dark gray, the wave of the future in scoring is grey noise, no sounds outside a very narrow range, other than the gut punches of Low Frequency Effects (LFE)

Wait, did we just label Snyder better than good? When did that happen? I was actually referring to Ben Affleck as director.
