Beware of other people putting bullets in your gun (eg People who stir shit and then hide when you have to stick your neck out).

Be wary of people who start the sentence "Im not being funny right but..." because THEY BLOODY WELL ARE!!

Always put two toilet roll holders up in your loo.

and rule seven b: Dont trust people - because there are a lot of wankers about.

Do what Jackie Gleason did most of the time take the money and run, Taken percentage points on a film will most of the time leave you with empty pockets. Of Course Jackie i believed did make a mistake with Smokey and the Bandit, and a lady who was in one of my movies did take percentage when she played a streetwalker in Crocodile Dundee and made some nice money[remember Dundee was not suppose to skyrocket to success] But those are usually minority cases.I know, i gave away percentage points myself[ha-ha].

When directing a film , don't be cheap with your film stock, take as many takes as you can, you will probably need them when you get to the editing room.

Bedtime is for two things: If you don't want the first, then don't keep me from the second.

If your shower curtain becomes mildew-ee or soap scum-ee, just take it down and wash it in your washing machine as if it were an article of clothing. It will come out nice and clean. No need to dry it, of course. wink

Always remember that statement, It is to good to be true.It nearly always is, i am an optimist, there are many joys one can have in this life, but the ones that are really lasting and worth something have to be earned, it just does not fall in your lap.

Beware of naive people who blunder through situations oblivious to the damage their comments and behaviour can cause (this is especially true in the workplace).

Most people can spot truly poisonous back-stabbing ambitious lowlifes at work but these naive inadvertant assassins can be more lethal. They can be totally unaware they have cost someone their job, destroyed the rep of a good boss, brought a company down, anything.

At the end of a meeting these people could start a war from a throwaway line among banter to the boss as everyone leaves the conference room. And they would catch the bus totally unaware what they had done.

I don't know if this counts, but "How To Win Friends And Influence People" is a very readable, useful book. You can get it really cheap used. If you're lucky, you'll read it when you're still young. By the time I read it I gave myself a headache because of all the forehead-slapping.

No wonder I consider you my soulmate and like everything you like.

If you are considering getting your teeth whitened with the ultraviolet light treatment, be prepared for a lot of pain. The procedure itself is painless. Upon completion, however, you will start to experience shocking pains shooting through your teeth and gums for the next 24-36 hours. I yelled out a few times because the pains come on you without warning. It feels as if someone is putting a stun gun on your teeth and zapping an electric shock in your mouth. Ouch! The dentist probably won't warn you about this either. Well, consider yourself warned.

Diversity is a wonderful thing in life. Always trying something new is smart, if you don't like the new thing, no big deal, you only lost a small amount of your time, but if you really like the new thing you have found a friend for life.

If you "make" friends then the chances are that you will make them in your own image... and you will learn nothing more from their counsel than if you had had the courage to listen more closely to yourself. Make a friend of yourself first, then see what happens.

Heath, Decidedly Cold Comfort Farm, Dartmoor, England. 2012.

Don't shit where you eat!

Sadly, Ron, a catastrophically huge number of our fellow human beings on this planet have to do just that. Believe me, they'd love to put your sensible advice into action.

People who are "emotionally constipated" still manage to squeeze out some emotion, like disappointment and anger.

I don't want to debate whether or not disappointment is an emotion.
