Alice Krige in GHOST STORY. The original "scary hair" before J-Horror Ringus and Grudges - and, when not scary, truly gorgeous and sumptuous (as the rest of the woman).

The banshee in Disney's DARBY O'GILL AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE. A comb used very effectively.

Megara, sister of Medusa, in Hammer's THE GORGON. For obvious reasons. wink

(Oh yes... I'm stuck on Halloween-mode, though it's almost Christmas).

Jennifer Connelly in the 1990s. The second most gorgeous hair after Krige's.

Of male actors, Robert Pattinson comes first into my mind. In addition to the top of his head, he has lots of hair with attitude in lots of places.

wink KEN

Stand-up more than an actress, Phyllis Diller comes to mind.

Sally Kellerman in the OUTER LIMITS episode "The Bellero Shield." I'd pay real money if she'd stop shaking her mid '60s bob like it were a bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing...the episode itself was a lot of anguished crap, too, despite interesting lighting and direction and the always-good Martin Landau.

Watch Sally K. strut her stuff around 48:00 into this:

Though I cannot find stills online to support this, I contend that Grant Williams' hair played a significant supporting role in THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN.

Yes, she does indeed employ her hair here.

I wonder if her hair was able to get SAG benefits as a result? big grin

I interpret it as a performer's hair having attention drawn to it by the actor's constantly shaking, touching, mussing, and letting it hang obviously from their swelled egoholic heads. It becomes a prop in itself.

David Cassidy as Keith on THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY fits this description perfectly!

Anyone who doubts that Grant Williams had a head of hair that could act...

...needs only look at how the glistening ripples of his VO-5 manage to upstage both Coleen Gray AND her taffeta in THE LEECH WOMAN.
