Ha, cheer yourself up, have a Chilli Dog.

If I do, you can bet it'll be without the fooking BEANS.

No one does Meatloaf like the Yanks!
I had Meatloaf and Mash in a restaurant in Florida and I still dream about it now! smile

...& I've never had a bad cup of coffee in the States. I like a lot of their food. I love the place.

America bad, rest of world angelic. Got it. Thanks.

I'm not quite sure how a discussion about baked bean preference managed to elicit such a hyperbolic response from you. Over-sensitive much?

We Americans are very oversensitive. Unless everyone bows to us and say yes you are number one we start to cry like babies. So you don't get the wrong impression, I have nothing against my country or any country in this world. But yes I do believe what I just said is true. I think we all do.

If you believe that either of those is true, then you're an even bigger idiot than your posts make you out to be.

Well, ladies and gentlemen. This morning I synchronised my watch for a very special mission to Morrisons for a helping of their Famous Big Breakfast.

Menu as follows:

http://your.morrisons.com/Documents/cafe%20menus/new_30_04_2012/MM371920_4450962_Cafe_Lectern_Reduced_English.pdf

On this occasion I took the minster's advice and only partook of one serving. Still, plenty more cans of beans on the shelf where they came from.

Well, half right, is that not saying there is good and bad in all nations? I remember what an Italian general said after world war 2, there are no bad or good nations[since nation, stands for the people] there are however evil people who create evil systems and that is the tragedy. Believe me there are sadly plenty of evil people running this country now.I feel sorry for the whole world that this is a truth.

The article pointed to in DB's original post refers to politicians talking about who farts the most. They appear to be passing the buck, er, I mean bean for someone else to take the blame of ultimate fartiness while disqualifying themselves of any flame-worthiness whatsover.

I could be wrong.

Well I have to report that there's a small hole in the ozone layer above my house!

I thought it was all the cattle doing the damage, farting away all day, & not even saying excuse me. Let's face it, we're doomed. Maybe five hundred years & it'll probably be all over, ready for the next lot. I'm not worrying about it, & am going to carry on enjoying my little slice of existence.

The more interesting thing is will human beings in 500 years be living maybe hundreds of years. No optimist could ever convince a total pessimist. No pessimist could ever convince a total optimist.

I've had many very good meals in my adult life; fish and chips from The Magpie in Whitby (after a 90 minute wait)

You waited NINETY MINUTES for fish and chips?? Pray tell...
