Seriously jimbo dont stop the roundups - weve got a bit behind but it does spark further comments and act as a record, especially if reading back over the thread.

That award looks like my uncle roy????

Yeah mata to man utd - bit weird that, given he could be their playmaker next season.
I know a lot of chelsea fans disappointed he hasnt played.

Man U losing is now officially a criminal act...

(From the BBC website)

A drunk Manchester United fan called 999 "demanding" to speak to Sir Alex Ferguson after the club's defeat.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were called at 22:30 GMT on Wednesday by a man from Crumpsall after the team lost to Sunderland in the Capital One Cup.

GMP said it "can be sad and depressing" when a football team loses a game but asked the public to "remember that 999 is to be used for emergencies only".

The force suggested contacting the club to speak to the former manager.

2 italian internationals arriving at upton park this week, including Marco Borriello frm Morricones Roma?

However, we need the whole italian national side if me are to stop getting relegated.

Id renew my season ticket to watch the Andrea the architect dictating play every week! Then having a fag at halftime in the tunnel - thats a cigarette!

I think we made Ross McC the new team captain to discourage him from having his head turned. However, the way all our players have been performing recently it's a miracle that anybody wants ANY of 'em!

A great cup draw for the next round. The top four teams in the league all playing each other - I bet that's never happened before. And if Chelsea get knocked out by Citeh, well, no Mata!

Bill

To quote wee Brendy, we were 'absolutely magnificent'. And we also have Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea all to come to Anfield.

Mourinho quotes to remember forever Dept:

Jose Mourinho: Chelsea boss says West Ham's style is '19th century'

Jose Mourinho after Arsenal 0 Chelsea 0 on December 23: "Boring is the team who plays at home and can't score a goal."

Jose Mourinho after Chelsea 0 West Ham 0 on January 29: "This is not the best league in the world, this is football from the 19th century. The only [other] thing I could bring was a Black and Decker [tool] to destroy the wall. It's very difficult to play a football match where only one team wants to play. It's very difficult."

The self proclaimed 'Special One' is full of hyperbole...

I think hes funny. Not to be taken too seriously.
Yeah we parked the bus and tgey didnt have a tow truck big enough to shift it!!

Its a point i wasnt expecting - was anyone - but the difference being was we had collins back in defence and tgere were a lot more players throwing themselves in to block shots - previous week there hasnt been anyone even remotely looking like wanting to bother blocking a shot. Or mark. Or tackle. Or even put their shorts on.
Will need a lot more than this to turn season around coz plenty other teams down there showing effort. We have to match than and show a bit of guile to nick a few matches.

If there was a midweek uncle Roy I think livrrpool and west ham might be contenders for jimbos consideration??!!

Our 6 - 0 City doesnt look quite so bad now they destroyed tottenham with 5.

What on EARTH are you talking about, Thomas?

Humpty is still in charge and we beat local rivals resoundingly. It's all sweetness and light at Elland Road, as always!

Oh, Joan - I'm afraid you've misunderstood. This thread is about football. That's football. Not rugby league with stormtrooper armour. smile Is there such a game on over there today?

But, back to football... you're welcome to catch up and join in. But any mention of D*v*d B*ckh*m is strictly verboten.
