DAREDEVIL director's cut is actually pretty good, IMO. Batman and Daredevil are kinda similar except for the blindness.

I'm not mad about Ben Affleck playing Batman in the 2015 Man of Steel/Superman sequel for 2 reasons: 1. It shouldn't be Christian Bale. It would have undermined the "trilogy" (beginning, middle, end) nature of the Nolan films, and by having Bale's Batman exist in the same universe as Superman, it also would have undermined the semi-realistic nature of that trilogy by throwing the character into a universe with aliens. 2. Ben Affleck is not the same actor he was 10 years ago when he did Daredevil, Gigli, and Armageddon. Since playing the "pretty-boy" roles*, he has matured and moved on to roles like The Town and Argo, which showcase his more serious and angst-driven side. Face it, he has the acting range to tackle Batman/Bruce Wayne whether you like him or not. I'm not saying he'll be a GREAT Batman, but since there is literally no footage available at this time, it is ignorant to dismiss him beforehand. I'm not sure that having a big-name actor play Batman was the best idea, but they could have certainly done worse. I agree with this statement by director Zack Snyder: "Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry's Superman. He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne." *To be fair, the R-rated Daredevil: Director's Cut was 10X better than the PG-13 crap that everyone saw. Aaaaaand cue the disagreeing replies...
