What female celeb do you think is super hot that most people would probably disagree with and say, "Really? You gotta be kidding!"

Madeline Kahn

I used to take stick for really fancying Linda Hamilton in her King Kong Lives/Beauty & the Beast days. Most people I knew thought she wasn't that good looking.
Of course, when she manned-up for T2, I started to agree with them, but I still thought she was delicious in Kong and B&B.

I love me some "unconventional" beauty. smile

I don't think there's anyone who ever thought of Dianne Wiest as beautiful--or even slightly attractive--but I sure did, once upon a time. Particularly when she had a Pixie-style haircut.

Oh, one more:

Hell, back in the day, Linda Hamilton was in my Top 2! (The other was Leeza Gibbons.)

That's when I started to take notice! A fine muscle toned body is quite alluring. Big fan of female athletes. Same goes for Vasquez from Aliens. wink (Holy crap, she played "Irish Mommy" in Titanic!)

Most of the people I alone find attractive, it's more due to their obscurity than to their looks -- Tatiana Maslany, for instance.

On the other hand, there are a great many celebrities whom I seem to be in the small minority of finding nothing special, lookswise.

Yeah, I'm in the same club. I find 98% of the celebs average at best. I see better looking women in television commercials. (and I don't mean the beer commercials)

My tastes run pretty mainstream. But one I've never really seen too much love for and that I'm pretty smitten with is Rachael Ray. I think she's an absolute doll, and I just love her spunky carefree personality.

I think that all 3 of the "Charlie's Angels" are waaaay overrated in their beauty. I am referring to Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Lui. None of them do anything for me.

On the other hand, a few years ago, poor Sarah Jessica Parker was getting called "The Ugliest Woman in Hollywood" or something like that. Here I always thought she was quite hot. So I felt bad for her because nobody deserves that title.

@ Michael24- She's cute, but I'm in the Giada camp. wink

@ barryfan - Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I certainly have mine. But I try my best not to say "in public" someone specific is ugly. It's just incredibly mean. I'm sure most of the ppl that say those things, are not "all that" themselves.

I don't think Parker is much to look at these days, but when she was younger she was cute. For me, her pinnacle of hotness was Hocus Pocus.

Oh yeah, Giada. big grin Definitely a stunner, although sometimes I find her a little too "uppity." Rachael just has that girl-next-door kind of charm that I like a lot.

Oh come on, boys. Saying the likes of Giada or Rachel Ray are attractive isn't really a bold confession.

Perhaps. But the OT asked which female celebrities we find hot who most people don't seem to. I've rarely heard Rachael described as such and instead usually see nothing but unfair ragging on her. So I think she qualifies. smile

I don't disagree enough to pursue this lol and besides, the few of us who have admitted we fancy ladies of a "less obvious" aesthetic appeal should be patting each other on the back. Everyone else here must be strictly of the Maxim magazine (to keep things PG) variety.

Love the choices of Carol Kane and Madeline Kahn. Strange how funny ladies are somehow deemed less beautiful than their dramatic counterparts.

Interesting thread. I hope others contribute. smile
