******Spoiler Alert*******

I came away a little baffled, and with questions. Has no one seen it?

I did see it. I rate it on a par with the first film. Visually beautiful. Characters you don't care about. I won't buy the soundtrack, though. I really thought Harrison Ford's return wasn't necessary but I suppose his name on the marquee was needed. I have the original (4DVD set) in my film library but won't be adding this one.

Yeah thats one thing we dont have round here, discussions on anything star wars, no threads where people post pointless reams of lists and nothing on the new blade runner film... wink (apart from about 5 monster threads of about 20 pages on the other forum!)

I saw the first hour, it was like watching paint dry. Didn't see "the visually spectacular" part unless that comes after the first 60 minutes. Though Ana De Arma was delicious with or without blue hair. If they ever get around to the Logan's Run reboot I want her to play Jessica.

Still haven't seen the movie or followed the score, with so much critical opinion I didn't bother investing in the movie, I'll hang on to tv viewing & snag a cheap cd score soon.

What did Wallace's "secretary/hit-woman" say to K after she stabbed him what seemed like for the last time?

Was it "I'm the best one."

I like BR 2049 a whole lot. I highly recommend it as a thoughtful sci-fi, and less elusive than the first.

The original puts me to sleep. I've tried to watch it 4 or 5x and made it all the way through only once.

Funny the second one put me to sleep. I don't see the difference other than the sequel has crappy CGI.
(I didn't believe for one minute those Spinners were actual physical objects flying in the sky)

.....If they ever get around to the Logan's Run reboot I want her to play Jessica.

Speaking of CGI, they would CGI everything including the Santa Claus robot, making him impossible to escape yet the heroes would, sigh. roll eyes

Film's were on a budget in them days, even if CGI could of been Available it wouldn't of been over cooked, you look now its all too extravagant in movies, some have success others can look terribly dumb.

Is Deckard a replicant in this film?

That question is not definitively answered on purpose.
