Expanded Pet Sematary? Sweet!

Any chance the Ramones tune will be included?

Love Goldenthal and have the Varese version, but Pet Sematary has never really done it for me. Watched the film a few months ago, didn't seem to be that much missing from the original release. But... expanded Goldenthal is pretty rare, so I'll probably get it anyway. Indeed hope The Ramones song will be featured

They didn't have those rights in perp. Same with a few other Paramount titles.

MV

Does that include Charles Bernstein's April Fool's Day? If so, please consider it. smile

Yes, please do! Love Bernstein's score and a remaster would be most welcome even if there isn't any more music to release.

Please Please Please!!!!

In perpetuity means Varese still holds the rights and you can't do a CD of it. Obviously in this case they didn't hold onto the rights, or they lost them. Unless they've started to sell (or however it works) rights to labels now, behind the scenes.

Top Gun, right? big grin

That's a real shame. I very much appreciate you letting us know this so we don't waste our time hoping for its CD premiere.

I'm sure Mr. Bernstein himself wants to see it released complete with quirky vocal that he also penned.

I mean, it's sort of a clue. We just have to figure out when MV met his wife. wink

From Facebook:

La-La Land Records

BOOM! LLLCD 1282 APPROVED!

THAT'S ONE BLACK FRIDAY TITLE DOWN!

This particular soundtrack has a deep meaning for me. It's the soundtrack to the first film I saw with my wife.

Next time LLL needs to made clues/good news more carefully - there is already rumour that this title will be John Barry's Boom!. But if this true - for me this will be sooo good!

Does this mean that Lalaland now has access to the Universal vault ? BOOM was a Universal released film.

An excellent John Barry score. Nice if it's getting a proper CD release at last!

Indeed, Peter. Wonder if there will be any extra unreleased music on this release? It's a relatively short score. Good work from LLL, following on from their excellent 'First Love' release.

I'm not convinced that the title is literally Boom! I think it was more of an exclamation of relief of the title being approved.... I've never seen the movie but from the wikipedia description it sounds like an odd choice for a first date movie.

Oh sorry, I thought he had confirmed it was 'Boom!'. You could be right.

People sometimes though have strange choices for their first date movie. For example, the first movie I took my wife to see was '1492 - Conquest of Paradise'. And she promptly fell asleep during it. She still married me thoughwink
