This will drive people crazy. In nov 2010 they were giving the treasury away. 15 copies

I remember that. And actually, it was 1 copy - it just had 15 CDs.

Dr. Lao: I have the Rózsa Box, maybe you should also blame me. It's not Lukas fault. Sounds very childish to blame him.

I said I'd transfer my blame to Jonathan. If you want some blame I'm willing to oblige. From now on when I remember this experience I'll curse the names of Jonathan and Dr. Lao. These two jerks are responsible for my collection being incomplete and shall never be forgiven. I will carry a great anger in my heart toward them until my dying day.

Ha, this thread's turned into a good laugh! As my mother used to say to me when I was young & whinging about something or other: Well if that's all have to complain about in life, you're not doing too bad, are you!

Jonathan: So you will have a happy and prosperous life!

No, my life is ruined for missing out on this set.

Cinema: if that's all have to complain about in life, you're not doing too bad, are you!

I have a LOT more to complain about. Missing out on this set may just push me over the edge.

pzfan, I took a look at your links and considered ordering from www.auparadoxeperdu, but they don't appear to be a real store that accepts orders. I created an account, then had to reboot due to computer problems. When I came back and entered my username and password (that I saved in a text document), they said I entered it wrong! I clicked the button that said I "forgot" my password, and they said I'd get an email in "minutes" (that was almost an hour ago). Plus I don't see any way to get to a cart or start the checkout process. Finally, they only accept Paypal... which I think means I pay them (if I can figure out how), they get the money, then they have to send it back because they don't have the item. Is the site someone's idea of a joke?

No, they are a real store and usually they list titles they don't have at hand as not in stock. Usually, it worked fine with me so far. Try again.

As soon as the Ben-Hur set was released, I figured that this would push the sales of the Rózsa Treasury.

That's how I found it, via a link on the Ben-Hur page (which I didn't know about either). I waited hours before I decided, nabbed it and it was gone next day. I came looking for "Land of the Pharaohs" (Dimitri Tiomkin) ironically.

Happy Dance Happy Dance

Came home from work today to find a nice box waiting for me. No customs charge either.

My god this is a beast. Just ripping disc 4 at the moment and skimming through the booklet but this is going to take hours and hours to digest fully.

I had this sitting in my wishlist for months but as soon as Lucas mentioned that the remaing 500 would not be made I pulled the trigger on the order as I had a feeling that that would speed up sales. Could really have done with putting it off for a few more months but so glad I did get it. Sigh - that's what credit cards are for I guess.

Nope, I can't log in. I created an account, but it's still telling me I've got the username or password wrong. I clicked the button that said I "forgot" my password last friday, but they never got back to me.

Could someone ring Emergemcy and send them to w-dervish's address. I think he may be contemplating you-know-what.

It's amazing what people think they can get in this crappy economy. I want some of what that seller is smoking.

Holy moly. I can't believe someone would pay that much.

It's absurd. This can be found much cheaper on E-bay.

Let the aftermarket reaming begin

I never did figure out how to order from auparadoxeperdu. Twice I clicked the button that was supposed to result in me getting my "forgotten" password emailed to me. Finally I used their email contact form, and the person that responded said I had definitely forgotten my password (even though I said in the message I sent there was no way I could have) and that I should click the button to have my password emailed to me.

I have this on order from two different places in England, although 5 days after ordering both refuse to let me know if they actually have it. One order is "pending" while the other is "Awaiting stock allocation" (which I am guessing means it's backordered and they won't be able to get it). In the extremely unlikely event that both orders are filled, I'll beat that seller's price on Amazon and let my second copy go for only $799.99.
