Elliot Goldenthal's BATMAN & ROBIN. Believe me, it's really bad...almost amateur even. Batman Forever is so much better, IMHO.

iirc there is no score on that album!!!!
brm

FYI, I was talking about the the original score and not the Various Artist album.

1 Bat Titles and Fanfare
2 Jungle Lab & The Birth of Bane
3 Defenders of Gotham
4 Poison Ivy's Toxic Kiss
5 Nora Und Freeze
6 Confutatis Maledictis and Hymn
7 Danse Sardonique
8 Elegy and Death Forethought
9 Batflight & Robin's Theme
10 Alfred's Song
11 Poison Ivy's Dance Card
12 Gotham Boogie Nervosa
14 Gotham Observatory
15 Brontosaurus Wrecks & BatCoda

Even the tracklisting is kind of lame. The mixing and the transition between the cues is awkward. I love Elliot and all, but what was he thinking when assembling this album!?!?!

Umm, Ford?

You are attributing comments by other members (that have actually given examples of what the thread is about) to me.
If you are cursed with anything, it's confusion. I'm not your opponent here.

Give your head a shake to clear the cobwebs. Or else simply turn in. Either way, no harm done.

Ford,
The "fanboy delusion" I was referring to is Octoberman's suggestion that you might channel the energy you use to argue with people on this message board into producing soundtracks.

Guilty as charged, mate. big grin

I've really got to get it under control. It's even annoying to me.)

This is the cancelled score album that was due to be released by Atlantic Records as specified here, but it was Sony Classical according to Elliot himself. No pics.

How can you know the transitions where awful ?

Because I've heard the album. Most of the cues consisted of short different cues, and the transitions between them were simply awful and amateurish.

OK, so you are bitching about an album that was NEVER RELEASED, more then likely was just a rough assemblage that was never mastered properly and might even be someone's bootleg version?

And you are saying that this is "Worst album presentation of score...ever!"

Give me a break.

Vangelis' Blade Runner album. Not only was it twelve years late, it mislabeled the titles, omitted the best music, included music not even heard in the film and sprinkled dialogue clips all over it. There are some things impossible to forgive and Vangelis' disdain for his best score and his fans ranks high on my shitlist.

I have received a copy of the album from Elliot's team, but I am not allowed to share the album as that was the only condition. Yes, that's the album that Elliot had assembled himself and that's a fact. The second half of the album is especially bad. It's up to you if you believe it or not. Frankly, I don't care.

HELLBOY - covering only about 1/3 of the score, leaving out majority of the most important cues and even character themes that are not presented AT all on the original album and as another "great" bonus the CD is full of ticks and pops. About time for a DeLuxe.

So let me get this right....

Elliot's "Team" gave you an unreleased album master that after hearing this 'Super Secret Master" you then go out on to a public forum and PISS on it (Classy) and more then likely
UNMASTERED that only YOU HAVE HEARD and the rest of can't?

I'm sure you wouldn't have an issue if this post shared with "Elliot's team" now would you?

IMHO of course.

So? In case you have reading problems, I was talking about the programme and not the score (which is brilliant) itself. I am entitled to my own opinion.

Ahah you're teaching me about class? That's rich.

Only a fanboy producer would fear the reaction of a composer when criticizing an album program.

I always speak my mind. Sometimes not necessarily with a high degree of tact.

Why can't you be nice and be like Ryan Keaveney? At least he's all grown up now.

For an unreleased album that this person was given out of the kindness of someone at Elliot's office and this is what he does?

It's called being RUDE AND A JERK.

You should follow your own advice...

The bottom-line is this.

Someone took pity on you from 'Elliot's Team" and gave you a copy out of the kindness of their heart?

You repay that by pissing on a unreleased and more then likely unfinished master and do so on public forum and then think that just alight and find.

It's called being a RUDE JERK...

I'm sure the person who gave this to you would appreciate it so much.

Grow up already fanboy.
