Most of the time Intrada has been listing a total of 105 titles on offer; that number is now 101. There appears to be no trace of which 4 titles are implied to have been taken off the list.

A very quick glance shows that Young Sherlock Holmes is "temporarily sold out," while Back to the Future and Magdalene are gone. That amazing mystery is almost solved.

After much procrastination, I finally placed an order for:

HOCUS POCUS
PATTON
FIRST BLOOD
CONGO
JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS
RIO CONCHOS
RED HOUSE, THE
JULIUS CAESAR
IVANHOE
SPELLBOUND

Despite the size of the order I wanted two more titles but had to pass on them. The two were The Sand Pebbles and The Great Train Robbery.

Both Newman/folk And five days from home (continue) were in the "until or while quantities last" Category. Newman/folk June 2nd, and paradise may 19th. Both this year.

In short doubt they were sold out during sale.

Btw do we know if it's till midnight on the third or midnight on the 4th that the sale ends? Dates saying through xx tend to be unclear.

-- edit

Clear and Present Danger is also now temp sold out. 2-3 weeks.

Such a great offer - and there are quite a few Intrada's on my list to get. I could have spent loads more, but the last month has been expensive in other ways, including Quartet's generous offer, so I've had to limit myself. Across two orders (to hopefully lessen any chance of customs issues) I grabbed -

BERNSTEIN: THE AVA COLLECTION
BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY
FIRE BIRDS
HATARI!
REVENGE
SEVEN DAYS IN MAY / THE MACKINTOSH MAN
VON RYAN'S EXPRESS / THE DETECTIVE

Believe me, if money were no object, I'd have ordered at least 10 more. As it is, I think I've got some fine music coming over to keep me going.

It's a fence-post ambiguity. I'm just as confused as you are. The strike of midnight on the 3rd is when it becomes the 4th but if it is inclusive of the 4th then there should be another 24 hours in which to do a rush job.

Edit: On second thoughts, it looks like it includes monday 4th so the official end would be on the dot of the 5th.

I'm surprised the Baxter is sold out. The re-issue was an Intrada MAF line release.

MAF (Mary Anne Fake, Doug's wife), is a line for "unlimited" copies (of course, realistically, it still can't go over 10,000 copies), so HoU should not be sold out. No way it moved 10,000 in less than a month.

Of course it's not sold out!
It was first ("Special Collection") release.
It's quiet easy to make a mistake, if 2 same titles comes from one label. wink

The reissue is still available: http://store.intrada.com/s.nl/it.A/id.8874/.f?sc=13&category=-113

The Intrada site still lists the previous ISC cd and that says sold out: http://store.intrada.com/s.nl/it.A/id.6926/.f

It will be midnight here in just under 5 hours. My midnight is not the same as Intrada's midnight, which comes about 7 hours after it does here. Does that mean I get 7 hours more time than anyone on the western seaboard of the USA to pick and choose?

Picked up a few titles but waited so long to do it that YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES couldn't be one of them. Boo hiss.

Inquired with Intrada today about my order from one week ago (Mon 7/28). To their credit, they responded within an hour and said:

Due to the sale, we're experiencing a large volume of orders. We're hoping to have most of the orders caught up by the end of the week.

Man, I sure hope so. Otherwise we're talking about it taking at least 2 full weeks to fulfill an in-stock order.

Anyway, there you have it. The best ETA they can give anyone is that they're hoping to have shipped most orders by the end of this week. So sit tight, music fans. Hopefully not too much longer.
