An 8 disc set of the music from My Mother, The Car!

A 2 CD set of music from Mr Baseball - including every out take of the organ cues. Those fill up a whole disc!

A 2 CD set of the theme from Whats Happening! - Played on various instruments and arrangements! Over 120 minutes of WHATS HAPPENING!

A 2 CD score set of John Henry Timmis's film The Cure For Insomnia! 87 hours of stock footage and L. D. Groban! Scored by library cues! Somehow, we put it all on two CDs!

I'd suggest that the 2000 edition release is probably "Take a Hard Ride" if that's indeed coming.

Lethal Weapon "quadrilogy" music is 8 discs worthy? So much music, really?

I'd be happy with 4-discs for about 40$, but I wait till the anouncemt for the moaning, etc. wink

My bet goes for an expanded JFK.

With the 50th anniversary of the assassination it would seem logical.

check this for more info about the unreleased music

It's sounds little ominously - previously we said "it's composer X birthday soon, so maybe someone will release his score to Z film?" Now we speak - it's assassination anniversary, so please LLL release this score! big grin

I'm really looking forward to the announcements! Luckily I'm not scheduled to work on the 29th, so I'll be home for the announcements. And can order right away if it's a title I'm interested in. I hope everyone here has a great Thanksgiving btw!smile

A re-release of Take a Hard Ride would make a marvelous Christmas present. Sure hope it's true.

Wouldn't the "Airport" series fit nicely on an 8 disc box set with extras and unreleased material? With "impossible" releases like SALEM'S LOT getting released this year, seems like anything may be possible these days.

Doubtful, but one can always hope. I'd certainly be up for it. Fingers crossed.

I haven't a clue how much music is in these films, but does anyone honestly think a $120 boxed set with two John Cacavas scores (no disrespect, but not exactly a name composer) for an antiquated film series could possibly sell 3,000 copies?

A few weeks back MV/LLL said one of the releases will be golden age.

So ..... one of these titles must go! smile

MV said he liked Tiomkin, so maybe one by Mr. T?

Yeah, just hard to imagine that.... hard for me to even imagine this being a tv series or limited appeal types of films. But that's just my viewpoint...maybe 3,000 at $120 were the terms of the contract/release. Hopefully they're satisfied with the sales of it...
