Am I missing something, or are a lot of these simply mopey "they'll never put out this thing that I want" prophecies?

Seems that way.

So much for bringing facts to the proceedings. wink

I would definitely love to be proven wrong ;-)

SUPERMAN RETURNS is also stuck due to some litigation mess with the label and the musicians? Salaries not paid to the orchestra or something that "someone" mentioned to me.. smile

Not only has that already been released, it's in the 1¢ bin (aka the graveyard) at amazon.

Yeah I would love to have this expanded on CD. It would be excellent if LLL could put this together the way they did with X2.

Which I daresay is rightfully where it belongs. I've obviously missed the 'clamour' for an expanded version of this one.

At the rate we're going, it's unlikely we'll ever get a complete DIARY OF ANNE FRANK....

And HELEN OF TROY and KING RICHARD AND THE CRUSADERS are both out there, but no one seems very interested...

Now it seems the tracks for A PLACE IN THE SUN are polluted.

And if we ever get the music tracks to SOUTH PACIFIC and CAMELOT, not to mention any number of other Alfred Newman-influenced musicals, I'll be more than surprised...

It's amazing that so much has been released. But, unfortunately, all that does is whet appetites for more....

(Not that I'm obsessive/compulsive, or anything....)

Anyone mention Invasion of the Body Snatchers by Carmen Dragon?

And I guess that once-talked about Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein re-recording is not happening.

JOHN BARRY - MISTER MOSES. Not famous, but an epic score by a legendary composer. Tapes are gone, but a good re-recording would suffice.

I believe that Ray Fiola (sp?) stated that the tapes for HELEN OF TROY and KING RICHARD AND THE CRUSADERS cannot be located.

If I recall correctly, Zimmer's Day's Of Thunder is virtually unlicenceable due to performers fees. Zimmer used guys like Jeff Beck on guitar and they don't come cheap.

Which is a shame really; it's an excellent score with a fantastic main theme.

By the by, Intrada wasn't able to release one track on the cd of John Scott's Red King White Knight, with Rick Allen (Def Leppard) being the drummer. Also a shame. It's a cool track.

It seems like Groundhog Day on FSM some days.

Has anyone mentioned Moonraker — the complete score?

FAIL-SAFE (1964) is a lost cause. No sheet music, no tapes. frown

No score! That is why.

I have the feeling that we can add James Horners Captain EO to this list aswell. I have lost hope long ago.
However Disney has opened their archieve a few times lately so some miracles still can happen.

Yeah I listed this a couple days ago...along with Michael Jackson's Moonwalker score by Bruce Broughton.

Unless things are confirmed as destroyed, etc, I'd always say there is hope. I mean...The Black Hole wouldve been on this list and look...we have the complete score now thanks to Intrada. Also people said Escape From Alcatraz wasnt WORTH putting on CD and Intrada released that too! Never say never...
