Well...According to Ed's comments on the SAE's facebook it's not SEBASTIAN. My guess now goes to GREMLINS wink This guessing game drives me crazy, hehehe

What was Ed's comment on facebook that makes you think Gremlins?

And releasetime is a.......secret? I ask this because i want to know if i must wake up middle of the night in Finland. And i´m pleased to do it, but only if it´s necessary...... So does anyone have a clue WHEN?

It is January 14 2010 in the year of the lord - where is the new JG soundtrack?

Doubt it's SEBASTIAN. It was just recently released and isn't much of a score in terms of length. Besides, Goldsmith had a bad experience doing SEBASTIAN and wouldn't even talk about it in later years.

When Harkit records in UK (a label which is considered as a bootleger in USA) announced their own release of SEBASTIAN, Douglas Fake himself said on Intrada Forum that Intrada was about to release this one (which will happen this year) so it's not SEBASTIAN.

Post on Intrada forum on April 16th 2009:

The license for SEBASTIAN does indeed rest with UMG, a company we work with often. And yes, if it appears on a label such as Harkit without a license it will be unfortunate since we've already begun looking into it.

Lukas has already hinted that Sebastian is in the works for a release here in the US by one of the labels.

So we can exclude SEBASTIAN from today's FSM release !

THRILLER Tv has got its chances, but I would prefer MASADA or of course GREMLINS...

I'm guessing it will be noon PST. There is an accompanying article on the release set to be posted on the website at that time.

you rock mark ford. glad someone has the answers! i'm having car troubles today and need a pick me up in a big way.

I'm just guessing though on the official release notice (only Lukas and SAE knows for sure), but the article kind of does the same thing.

A new Goldsmith? I'm still hungover on Freud.

One of these days I'm gonna have to go to score rehab.

[UPDATE] The article post time has been moved back to 5pm PST. I probably never should have said anything (hope I didn't break a sacred trust), but at least I didn't leak the title. I would never do that!

Well...According to Ed's comments on the SAE's facebook it's not SEBASTIAN.

That is most inconvenient. Not because I'll be disappointed with whatever the release actually will be, but because I promised to shoot myself if it wasn't "Sebastian".big grin
